"For we are HIS workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." - Ephesians 2:10 Whether or not you feel you are fulfilling your destiny, you are being prepared by the King of kings for His good purposes. You were chosen by God and have been given a divine DESTINY in eternities past. Why? The Lord is CALLING you to partner with Him to shape the future of the Kingdom of God (see 2 Corinthians 6:1,2: "And working together with Him......now is the acceptable time.")! This seems almost too marvellous to be true, but it is the Word of God. What does it mean to be "HIS workmanship"? The Greek term translated workmanship is "poiema", from which we derive the English word poem. Indeed, we are God's poem, written in ages past to be a living testimony of His presence on earth (see Psalm 139:16-17).  Without exception, every Believer has been created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God has ordained for us. REVELATION OF ANOINTING The desperate cry of many Believers is: "Oh, Lord, let Your works appear unto Your people" (see Psalm 90:16-17). The good news is that God's anointing rests upon upright followers of Jesus, and we will fulfil His purposes on earth. God has not only ordained good works for us, but He has also provided the grace we need to perform these works (see Philippians 4:13). We all have "an unction to function." Each one of us is anointed to fulfil the purposes of God (see Acts 1:8). As we move deeper into this season of sensitivity and revelatory enlightenment, we must step into our CALLING and DESTINY -- fixing our eyes on Jesus and Him alone. Only in His light do we see light (see Psalm 36:9). Only in His presence do we obtain a happy, holy heart (see Psalm 16:11). LEADERS WITH PURE HEARTS Divinely appointed leaders are emerging who have a single heart's goal to establish the King in His Kingdom on earth. Christ Jesus will have for Himself a people prepared to do greater works (see John 14:12). This is not a time for any Believer or leader in the Body of Christ to be humdrum, expecting only what we have seen and experienced before. We have never been where we are going now (see Joshua 3:4). We all must prepare for what is ahead: The call to embrace the awe of Almighty God. A wonderful, reverential fear of the Lord is returning to the people of God, releasing the wisdom of God (see Psalm 111:10). The hearts and lives of millions are going to be touched and transformed by the power of God during these days, as God's people return to a radical love for Christ and action regarding God's PURPOSE for their life supported by that love. REVELATION AND STRATEGIES The Spirit of Truth is releasing revelatory insights for all who are willing to hear Him with a heart set to obey what He is requesting (see James 1:22). Prepare to see an acceleration of the advancing of God's plans and purposes. God will have a people of purity and power, who live, move (initiating action instead of complacency), and have a revelation of God's CALLING in Christ on their life. You are not the least among my nations and your children shall return and serve Me. I prepare hearts. I break up the fallow ground. I change hearts of stone and make them hearts of flesh. The firstborn of your youth belong to Me! Cast them not away! See, look and hearken to what I am about to do, at this time. In the days of your youth, you were abandoned, shaken, cast away, cast aside. Know this, I have not passed you by. Though you may feel rejected like a woman forsaken, a lover forgotten_ _ _! I had not done this. I woo you daily. As I instructed My servant Habakkuk to take unto himself a woman of dishonour. A woman who is forsaken! Instructed him to love and cherish her. For him to husband her. He paid her dues> Yea! Even I have paid your dues. Yes! Walk-in humility and forgiveness, before Me, and I shall carry you, yea, even carry you by My side. Build upon My Foundation, Build upon the Rock, The Chief Cornerstone! "its I who raises you up for these days, these times, these seasons which lie before you. I shall revive restore renew you! Yes! Even as I instructed My servant Habakkuk, to betroth himself to a loose woman, yet he loved her. She bore his children, each having a prophetic illustration for that which I am about to do. Australia! Australia! Australia! Understand these times and seasons. Remember I Am also married to you. You shall also bear My children! I make you a place, a land a nation of restoration. You shall be called a place of restitution! In due course, you shall see, and bear fruit worthy of Me! When you draw close to Me, in intimacy with Me, I shall draw even closer to you! You shall be even known as a place of safety when you draw near to Me! I am your Hiding Place! I Am your Refuge! I Am your Fortress! I Am your Betrothed! You will run to Me and be Glad! I comfort you! You, o Australia shall fulfil My prophetic, apostolic destiny when drawing near to Me! I give you a New Song! New Praise, New Worship shall flow from your heart and your lips.

My Banner of Love shall be seen upon, yes, even rest upon you!" This is what I sense the Lord is saying concerning Australia and her leadership.

7 Warnings to Pastors Who Want to Grow as Leaders Ron Edmondson Posted: 03 Aug 2020 05:00 AM PDT I often hear from pastors who want to grow as leaders. They feel pressure to steer the church on a healthy course. Most of these leaders are humble, knowing ultimately Christ is the head of the church. They also usually know three things: 1. There are certain expectations by the people of the church. People are looking to them for leadership. 2. Decisions have to be made which are not clearly defined in Scripture. And there are often varied opinions already formed around the decision. 3. Seminary didn’t train them for all the decisions they need to make. All contexts are unique, but there are often principles that can help. That’s often why they contact someone like me. (What isn’t always clear is how I’ve learned these concepts mostly by living these concepts – mistakes and all.) These are some warnings I’ve observed first hand in leadership positions I’ve held. I hope they help. 7 warnings for Pastors who want to Lead: What you “settle for” eventually becomes the culture. And then it is much more difficult to change. Leadership involves challenging people beyond their current comfort level. Don’t be afraid to lead change. Mediocrity isn’t created. It’s accepted. I’ve learned this one the hard way. People will be average if you allow them to be. It’s easier. In most jobs, they get paid the same. That’s not even to say it’s what they prefer. Most people prefer excellence, but it often takes leadership – or coaching – to pull out the best in people. Your actions determine other people’s reactions. During stressful times the leader’s response dictates the level of stress on the team. When it’s time to celebrate, the team will seldom celebrate more than the leader. The leader sets the bar of expectations in how the team reacts to life as a team. Don’t assume they agree because they haven’t said anything. I actually wrote a whole chapter about this one in my book The Mythical Leader. Silence doesn’t equate to agreement. You’ll never get there just “thinking about it”. Every good idea isn’t even something the team should do. But, if it is, there needs to be a plan to do it. Who’s in charge? When are we doing it? How will we know when we are successful? If you’re the leader, they are likely waiting on you to lead or release the right to lead. People seldom take initiative unless you lead – or unless you create the culture which gives them permission, freedom and encouragement to do so. What the team values becomes apparent by your actions, more than your words. And, it doesn’t matter how well spoken you might be. People follow what the leader does.
