Wheat or Weeds (Tares)

Which are We?

Scripture

Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. But when the blade was sprung up and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest, I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
(Mat 13:24-30 KJV)

John answered all, saying, I indeed baptize you with water; but He stronger than I comes, of whom I am not fit to loosen the thong of His sandals. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire, whose sifting fan is in His hand; and He will fully purge His threshing-floor, and will gather the wheat into His storehouse, but the chaff He will burn up with fire that cannot be put out.
(Luk 3:16-17 LITV)

Soil Prep

Before any seed is able to be sown, the soil needs to be prepared! This means breaking up the fallow ground. The farmer prepares the soil, adding the necessary compost, fertilizer and manure. The necessary organic material is placed in the field prepared for the seed to be sown.

Even so, our hearts are being prepared daily! The Wheat of the Word needs to be planted, sowed into the soil of our hearts. This is why Scripture talks of breaking the fallow ground of our heart.

This entails a diligent investigation into the state of our heart. We need to prepare our hearts regularly before the Lord! With fear, trembling and repentant heart, we are to allow God's Holy Spirit to search our heart. We need to be sure there are no hidden, inconvenient stumbling blocks which may be found in our midst.

For revival and restoration, we often are to allow the Spirit to search our heart. Daily repentance is regularly needed to take place in our lives. John the Baptist was sent ahead of Messiah to prepare the way and the hearts of men! God's Plan of Salvation is found in the death and resurrection of Yeshuah Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ our Messiah)!
'tis being written and recorded in Christ's own Words: -
"I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one abiding in Me, and I in him, this one bears much fruit, because apart from Me you are not able to execute nothing."(Joh 15:5 LITV)
We need to be spending time in an intimate relationship with Him!  We regularly are to prepare our hearts before God! For without proper, regular preparation of our heart before Him, we may produce inferior fruit. He delights in us producing quality fruit in our lives which remains. Therefore the ground of our heart is to be well prepared, for sowing Good Seed! This Word which is sown in our heart needs to be able to bear Fruit worthy of True Repentance!

Fruit Bearing

Scripture

Truly, truly, I say to you, If the grain of wheat that falls into the earth does not die, it remains alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.
(Mat 12:39; Mat 16:4 & Lk 11:29)

 Fruit Bearing

What kind of fruit do we bear? We know a tree by its fruit. Whether peaches, papaws, pears, or any trees, we know the tree by the fruit it bears. Furthermore, we are aware of the grain, by that which it produces. Which type of fruit are we bearing? Whether wheat or tares (weeds), which are we? Often we need to search our hearts to see the fruit we bear. Even as the farmer tests his fields. Through that which he finds in his lands, he determines the crop best suited for the climate and soil found in his fields.

This puts forth another query as to the type of climate people experience when they are around us. Are they exposed to our warmth or coldness of heart?  How acquainted and approachable are we for the sinner? At times it may be quite a challenge! Both for us and the people we wish to reach with the Good News of this Kingdom Gospel! Found only through our acceptance of the Way, Truth and Life revealed to us through the Chief Shepherd. He is the True Vine!

We the branches need to rely on Him; to keep us from perishing. He came! Whoever receives Him; gains everlasting, eternal Life! Yet in this great harvest, our enemy sows mixed seed, thereby producing tares and weeds! In this field instead of pure wholesome wheat, we discovered tares and weeds, growing together with them. How are we to rid these lands, these wheat fields from the poor quality tares and weeds?

We are not able to get rid of the tares and weeds when they grow together with the wheat. When uprooted may accidentally uproot the wheat before harvest. So what would the good husbandman do? Like today's farmers, he probably would let them grow together, 'til harvest time! When ready he will reap, bringing in the harvest. He would then allow the workers, to bring in the harvest.

They would seperate the weeds from the wheat. Binding, separating the sheaves of wheat from the weeds. Once that is done the weeds and tares will be cast into the furnace! Their wheat stored in their barns! Next, after the wheat has been harvested they take it to the threshing floor. There they beat, thresh and winnow the wheat to such an extent that it is ready for production, this fine flour being prepared to bake bread.

Even tho' our Lord, when walking this Earth, during His days spoke about a wheat kernel falling into the soil. Further, He said unless this Grain of Wheat dies while in the soil, it shall not produce its fruit. On the other hand, when the Wheat Grain dies, only then is it able to bear much fruit!

Now this wheat, grain our Lord is speaking about was referring to Himself. He also spoke about being in the bosom of the Earth three (3) daye and three (3) nights. He told the religious leaders of His days, no sign will be given them, except for the sign of Jonah. What is this sign of Jonah? We find this sign in the Book of Jonah. As Jonah was three (3) days and three (3) nights in the belly of the fish (Whale); so would the Son of Man be three (3) days and three (3) nights in Earth's Belly! This would be the only sign given them! Further, our Lord tells them; " 'tis an evil & adulterous generation who seeks a sign!"

The Open Tomb (The Sign of Jonah)

Scripture

Scripture

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered, saying, Teacher, we desire to see a sign from You. But answering, He said to them, An evil and adulterous generation seeks a sign, and a sign shall not be given to it, except the sign of Jonah the prophet. And even as "Jonah was in the belly of the huge fish three days and three nights¹," so shall the Son of Man be in the heart of the earth three days and three nights. Men, Ninevites, will stand up in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and, behold, a Greater-than-Jonah is here. The queen of the south will be raised in the Judgment with this generation and will condemn it. For she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and, behold, a Greater-than-Solomon is here. (https://www.esword@net/(Mat 12:38-42 LIT). (¹See also Jon. 1:17)

The sign of Jonah (The open Tomb)

This sign was given to them! When through His crucifixion, death, burial in a borrowed tomb! After three days & three nights, He had risen from the grave! Thereby proving to them He was Messiah! Having risen from the grave, they would not be able to deny; He was the Way, the Truth & the Life! Yet they tried disproving this fact!  By paying the guards guarding the tomb at the time of Messiah's Ressurection! Telling them to shut their mouth about what happened.

These religious leaders were aware of the Truth. Yet they chose not to believe> They paid the guards to remain dumb about Christ's Ressurection! Commanding them to say the disciples came while they were sleeping to take away the body of Christ. Yet Christ Jesus' appearing to all His disciples;  all the more proved He was Messiah! Thereby disproving the lies of the elite, religious leaders! Their lies and sin caught up with them.

Neither would they be able to deny the Truth of the Gospel nor Christ's Death, Ressurection and Ascension! He openly displayed and fulfilled this Sign of Jonah given them! Even in their presence! Referring to Jonah, when Jonah was in the belly of the fish; he prophetically illustrated the day when Christ Jesus (Yeshuah Ha Mashiach); would die, be buried, and He would arise from Death.

(The whole of Jonah, his life, I understand; was a prophetic shadow of the Messiah Life, Death & Ressurection).  The religious leaders of that time were not ignorant of this factual Truth; therefore they would have no excuse. For when we read about the grain of wheat put into the soil, dying first before it is able to grow, live and produce much fruit; then we shall understand Christ's Illustrations of the bread, wheat and tares (weeds).

Repentance

Repentance #1

Scripture

And seeing this, Peter answered to the people, Men, Israelites, why do you marvel at this one? Or why do you stare at us, as if by our own power or godliness we have made him to walk? The "God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob," "the God of our fathers," glorified His child Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, that one having decided to set Him free. But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a man, a murderer, to be granted to you. And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses. And on the faith of His name, this one whom you see and know was made firm by His name, and the faith which came through Him gave to him this complete soundness before you all. And now, brothers, I know that you acted according to ignorance, as also did your rulers. But what things God before proclaimed through the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ should suffer, He fulfilled in this manner. Therefore, repent, and convert, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord, and that He may send forth the One before proclaimed to you, Jesus Christ, whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age past. For Moses indeed said to the fathers, "The Lord your God will raise up to you a Prophet from among your brothers, One like me; you shall hear Him according to all things," whatever He may speak to you.
(Act 3:12-22 LITV)
{See Deut. 18:15-16, 19}
(see Ex. 3:15)

26 And He made from one [common origin, one source, one blood] all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined [their] allotted periods of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation (their settlements, lands, and abodes),27 So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.28 For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.29 Since then we are God’s offspring, we ought not to suppose that Deity (the Godhead) is like gold or silver or stone, [of the nature of] a representation by human art and imagination, or anything constructed or invented. 30 Such [former] ages of ignorance God, it is true, ignored and allowed to pass unnoticed; but now He charges all people everywhere to repent ([d]to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins),31 Because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously (justly) by a Man Whom He has destined and appointed for that task, and He has made this credible and given conviction and assurance and evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.32 Now when they had heard [that there had been] a resurrection from the dead, some scoffed; but others said, We will hear you again about this matter.   (Acts 17:26-32 AMPC)

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His . commandments. His Praise endures forever. (Ps 111:10 NKJ)

Repentance

During this season let us return to our Lord with fear and trembling. Our Lord is a consuming fire and He is thrice Holy! We see recorded in Scripture how Isaiah stood in the Lord's Presence with awe. He saw the Lord High and Lifted Up! While he watched; the angels, the seraphim cried out Holy! Holy! Holy! Is the Lord of Hosts! The whole earth is full of His Glory!

Who is there like unto Him? He alone is God! Besides Him there is no other! He is the Lord God Almighty! Hear the Lord say to us; "Come up hither! Draw near to Me and I shall draw near to you! Take My yoke upon you; Come to Me; you whom are heavy laden; And I will give you rest!" Come stand in His Awesome Presence! Be bathed in His Love. His Goodness and Love draws us closer toward Him! Yes His Goodness & Mercy, endures forever.

We are to remember to choose and repent on behalf of our families and their bloodline (ie our bloodline). We need to repent on behalf of the sins of our forefathers, our nation, our country and our peoples. Yeah it may even mean repenting on behalf of our nation's leaders. We 're reminded in Scripture; to pray for all people eve'rywhere. E'en though we do not necessary agree.

First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people, for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way. This is good and pleases God our Savior. He wants all people to be saved and to learn the truth. There is one God. There is also one mediator between God and humans-a human, Christ Jesus. He sacrificed himself for all people to free them from their sins. This message is valid for every era. I was appointed to spread this Good News and to be an apostle to teach people who are not Jewish about faith and truth. I'm telling you the truth. I'm not lying. I want men to offer prayers everywhere. They should raise their hands in prayer after putting aside their anger and any quarrels they have with anyone.(1Ti 2:1-8 GW)

Remember when Daniel prayed he enquired of the Lord icw the future of his nation. He had also studied the word given Jeremiah, by the Lord as to the future of Israel. While praying, interceding for his nation he repented on behalf of Israel's sin and the sin of her fathers and forefathers. He therefore  could also read the times and seasons as the Lord revealed them to him.

Through diligent study of the Word (Scriptures), we are able to understand the times and seasons; the reason for repentance. Especially while studying Jeremiah. He (Daniel) came across the Word of the Lord concerning Israel's deliverance from Babylon. Meanwhile he interceded repenting on behalf of his people Israel. Through his repentant intercession, the Lord revealed to Daniel the future of what is about to take place. Surely our Lord would not do anything, without first letting His secrets be known to His servants the prophets (see Amos 3:7).

 Cry to the Lord

Image result for https://gmail.images.com/cry out/scriptureI cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.(Psa 3:4-5 KJV-BRG)

David knew from first hand experience, what is meant by repentance. Though he would be anointed king in Saul's steed, he was known as a man after God's own heart.Through his many years he had built a steady relationship with YHVH! When he messed up he soon repented. We see this clearly illustrated in his life. When he sinned with Bathsheba, schemed against his most trustworthy soldier.

After this adulterous affair; he thought he could hide his iniquitous actions. The Lord, being all knowing was aware of David's, treacherous wrongdoing against both Uriah and Bathsheba. Therefore, He sent Nathan to reprimand  David, icw his sinful actions. When confronted with the truth and destruction of his actions; David quickly repented. He confessed his sin and in due course the Lord restored him. We see his repentant heart and prayer found in Ps 51_ _

Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God

To the chief musician,

A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.

Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness, according to the multitude of Your tender mercies; blot out my transgressions. Wash me completely from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned, and done evil in Your eyes; that You might be justified in Your speaking and be clear when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden parts You teach me wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Cause me to hear joy and gladness; the bones You have crushed will rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me out from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners will turn back to You. Deliver me from the guilt of shedding blood, O God, O God of my salvation; my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall declare Your praise. For you do not desire sacrifice, or I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. (Psa 51:1-19 LITV)

"From this Psalm we are able to see how David could say; "I cried unto the Lord, with my voice, and He heard me out of His Holy Hill! Selah_" (Ps 3:4-5 NKJ).Though he had many setbacks, he could say "the Lord heard, healed and restored me!"

We find several examples throughout Scripture. Repentance remains a vitally important issue in our daily walk with G-d. Without repentance (i.e. genuine, true repentance) in our life the Lord is unable to do much. As said earlier G-d is thrice Holy! Sin cannot survive in His Holy Presence! For real true Salvation to take place; there needs to be true, genuine repentance.

Now what is repentance? A fairly good question in deed! Through this brief study; we shall try answering this question, to the best of our ability. Scripture clearly speaks about this matter. The Lord clearly tells us, the Holy Spirit is able to train us in all these matters. This is why we need to remain teachable at all times. He promises to show us great wondrous things, when we diligently, urgently seek Him. As we daily seek to know drawing near to Him; He promises to draw near to us.

He regularly desires to fellowship with us! For so Great is His Love! But our sins come between Him and us. These can build a wall of separation between G-d & us! Therefore we need to be living continuously in a repentant spirit. David knew this that is why he immediately repented of his foolishness, once confronted with his sin.

Repentance means a 180○ turn around from the way we are living. It means a lifestyle change. Before repentance there is the need of confession. Confession takes place before repentance. The two go together. The one needs the other. These two are required before Salvation is able to take place in our life. True repentance also bring us to  the point of Salvation through Christ Jesus in our life..

When we as a people whom are called by His Name, humble ourselves; pray, repent from our wicked ways  seek the Lord's Face confess our sins. He is sure to hear from heaven and heal our land, our nation , our peoples. (More to follow later)

Chapter Six

The Wilderness Files (Syndrome)

Scripture

7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice, 8Do not harden your hearts, as [happened] in the rebellion [of Israel] and their provocation and embitterment [of Me] in the day of testing in the wilderness, 9 Where your fathers tried [My patience] and tested [My forbearance] and found I stood their test, and they saw My works for forty years. (Heb3:7-9 AMPC).1
10 And so I was provoked (displeased and sorely grieved) with that generation, and said, They always err and are led astray in their hearts, and they have not perceived or recognized My ways and become progressively better and more experimentally and intimately acquainted with them.11 Accordingly, I swore in My wrath and indignation, They shall not enter into My rest.12[Therefore be-ware] brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him], leading you to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the living God.13 But instead warn (admonish, urge, and encourage) one another every day, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [by the fraudulence, the stratagem, the trickery which the delu-sive glamour of his sin may play on him].14For we [c]have become fellows with Christ (the Messiah) and share in all He has for us, if only we hold our first new-born confidence and original assured expectation [in virtue of which we are believers] firm and unshaken to the end.

15 Then while it is [still] called To-day, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion [in the desert, when the people provoked and irritated and embittered God against them].16For who were they who heard and yet were rebellious and provoked [Him]? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17And with whom was He irritated and provoked and grieved for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose dismembered bodies were strewn and left in the desert? 18And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who disobeyed [who had not listened to His word and who refused to be compliant or be persuaded]? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest]; because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut them out. (See Heb 3:7-19 AMPC)

Without Faith

Through our entire life, we need to seek the Kingdom of God first and His Righteousness; then all these things shall be added unto us. Whoever calls upon His Name shall not be ashamed. Therefore, Yaakov arose and sought the Lord His God for an answer; His Leading for the Lord’s next step to take place in his life. The Lord our God is constantly ordering our steps. Our lives been continually directed by and through His Word. He daily directs our steps!
While in the land of their captivity Israel called all his children to draw near to him. He was to declare over them God’s Blessings, that which would take place in the near future, and their latter years, nearing the end of the age. He revealed to them both God’s Blessing and His promise for them and their descendants. He would prophetically reveal to them God’s response, toward them including their promised deliverance.
Before going down to Egypt (Mitsrayim), the Lord appeared to him at Beersheba giving him the sure Word of Promise. The Lord told him, he would see his beloved son. Further God confirmed His Earlier Promise, which He made with Abraham. Once more, God reminds Yisrael includ-ing all who believe on His Name that He is the Rewarder of them whom diligently seek Him (see Heb 11:1-5).
He called for Yoseph to appear before him. He was about to speak God’s blessing over him and both his sons (Manasseh & Ephraim). The Lord gave Yisrael an encouraging word, saying he would see Yoseph before his passing. He would also see his grandsons.
On seeing Ephraim and Manasseh, he asked Yoseph about them. An-swering his father, he said they are the children with, whom the Lord had blessed him. While blessing them he adopted them giving them both an inherited portion with the rest of his sons. Further placing upon them the names of his fathers Abraham, Isaac and his own names (Yisrael & Yaakov).
Now before Jacob’s (Israel’s) passing, he called his children to him. It would be crucial for all of them to be present. The Lord was about to re-veal to Israel, what would take place in due course. He would reveal to them that which would take place in the latter days as well. The times and seasons are all in His Hand.
Israel (Yaakov) was preparing his descendants for the future, which their Lord was planning for them. The Lord knows the plans, the thoughts that He has concerning us. His Plans, thoughts are of success and a future, not of failure. He holds the keys of death and Hades. He has also given us the keys of Heaven.
Remember whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven. In addition, whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven (Mat 16:19; Mat 18:18).

Blessing of the Tribes

Scripture

And Ya‛aqoḇ called his sons and said, “Gather together, so that I declare to you what is to befall you in the last days: “Gather together and hear, you sons of Ya‛aqoḇ, and listen to Yisra’ěl your father. “Re’uḇěn, you are my first-born, my power and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of exaltation and the excellency of power. “Boiling like water, you do not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then you defiled it – he went up to my couch. “Shim‛on and Lěwi are brothers, their weapons are implements of violence. “Let my being not enter their council, let my esteem not be united to their assembly; because they killed a man in their displeasure, and they lamed an ox in pleasure. “Cursed be their displeasure for it is fierce, and their wrath for it is cruel! I divide them in Ya‛aqoḇ and scatter them in Yisra’ěl. “You, Yehuḏah, your brothers praise you; your hand is on the neck of your enemies; your father’s children bow down before you. “Yehuḏah is a lion’s cub; from the prey you have gone up, my son! He bowed down, he crouched like a lion. And like a lion, who does rouse him? “The sceptre shall not turn aside from Yehuḏah, nor an Inscriber from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of peoples. “Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he washed his garments in wine, and his robes in the blood of grapes. “His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk. “Zeḇulun dwells at the seashore, he is for a haven for ships, and his border is unto Tsiḏon. “Yissasḵar is a strong donkey lying down between two burdens, and he saw that a resting place was good, and that the land was pleasant, and he inclined his shoulder to bear a burden, and became a subject to slave labour. “Dan rightly rules his people as one of the tribes of Yisra’ěl. “Dan is a serpent by the way, an adder by the path that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider falls backward. “I have waited for your deliverance, O יהוה! “Gad, a raiding band raids him, but he raids its heel. “Bread from Ashěr is rich, and he gives delicacies of a sovereign. “Naphtali is a deer let loose, he gives words of elegance. “Yosěph is an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree, an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree by a fountain, his branches run over a wall. “And the archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. “But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Ya‛aqoḇ – from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Yisra’ěl – from the Ěl of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of the heavens from above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. “The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the limit of the everlasting hills. They are on the head of Yosěph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers. “Binyamin is a wolf that tears, in the morn-ing he eats prey, and at night he divides the spoil.”(Gen 49:1-27 TS2009)2

Israel becoming a nation

Here we see Israel (Yaakov/Jacob) passing on the blessings to all his sons. Jacob been the last of the patriarchs passes on the blessing to the new generation. They are to be the forerunners of the establishment of Israel as a nation. Yet they and their descendants still had to increase both in numbers and in strength.
They were about to enter into God’s next phase for raising a strong na-tion. The Lord was about to fulfil the rest of His promise, as given to their father Abraham many years before. God is no man that He should lie nor the son of man that He would repent. Has He not said so and shall He not fulfil His Word (See Num 23:19-21 NKJ)
While in their land of bondage, Israel became a nation according to the Word of God given to Abraham, our father of faith. These promises fully given to Israel’s descendants included all future matters, times and sea-sons. The Lord would later lead them to completely, take possession of their Promised Land. Through Isaac and Joseph’s life and testimony, they would be able to remain at peace in their land of bondage until the sea-son was ready for the Lord to lead them out.
God is not a man that He should lie, or a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? And has He spoken, and shall He not make it good? Behold, I have received word to bless; yes, He has blessed; I cannot reverse it. (Num 23:19-20 LITV)4
Meanwhile, Joseph had risen to power becoming Pharaoh’s Prime Minis-ter. The Lord would watch over them and they would multiply, growing from strength to strength. All during the life of Joseph (Yoseph) after Israel’s (Yisrael’s) passing, they were under YHVH’s protection. The Lord watched over them and they grew! Multiplying from strength to strength.
The Lord also gave them favour with Egypt until after Joseph’s passing. Meanwhile their numbers increased daily. They grew from strength to strength! The nation of Israel became established!
And Joseph said unto his brethren: ‘I die; but God will surely remember you, and bring you up out of this land unto the land which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.’ And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying: ‘God will surely remember you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.’ So Joseph died, being a hundred and ten years old. And they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. (Gen 50:24-26 JPS)

The Passing of Joseph (Yoseph)

Scripture

And these are the names of the children of Yisra’ěl who came to Mitsrayim with Ya‛aqoḇ, each one with his household: Re’uḇěn, Shim‛on, Lěwi, and Yehuḏah; Yissasḵar, Zeḇulun, and Binyamin; Dan and Naphtali, Gaḏ and Ashěr. And all those who were descendants of Ya‛aqoḇ were seventy beings, as Yosěph was already in Mitsrayim. And Yosěph died, and all his brothers, and all that generation. And the children of Yisra’ěl were fruitful and increased very much, multiplied and became very strong, and the land was filled with them. Then a new sovereign arose over Mitsrayim, who did not know Yosěph, and he said to his people, “See, the people of the children of Yisra’ěl are more and stronger than we, come, let us act wisely towards them, lest they increase, and it shall be when fighting befalls us, that they shall join our enemies and fight against us, and shall go up out of the land.” the more they increased and grew, and they were in dread of the children of Yisra’ěl. (Exo 1:1-12 TS2009)

Joseph (Yoseph) Who_ _ _?

This new Pharaoh had neither known nor even heard about Joseph. He had forgotten the famine from which the Lord spared both Mitsrayim, Yisrael and the rest of the known world. He saw how the children of Yisrael increased in numbers, strength and stature . Be-ing fearful, he tabled a law to enslave Israel (Yisrael) , and to abort the birth of their entire male babes after or during their birth .
Therefore, they set slave-masters over them to afflict them with their burdens, and they built for Pharaoh Supply cities, Pithom and Ra‛amses. However, the more they afflicted them; In due course Joseph breathed his last. He asked his brethren, when the Lord their God would lead them out; they take his bones with them. Therefore, they embalmed his body, after he passed on. I due course all of Yoseph’s brothers and their generation passed on. Yisrael still prospered until Mitsrayim (Egypt) came under rule of a different royal house.
Unless they were ready to take possession of their rightful inheritance. They would still need to traverse the Wilderness for fourty years. Although they could have entered their, promise in a short space of time. The Lord had to deal with their flesh.
Despite their opposition, which Israel experienced, the Lord came through for them. When the times, the season being ready Israel cried out for their deliverance! On hearing their cry, the Lord remembered His Promised Covenant, which He made.

Moses (Mosheh)

Scripture

And a man went from the house of Levi and took a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived and bore a son; and she saw him, that he was beautiful. And she concealed him three months. And she was not able to hide him any longer, and she took a basket for him made of papyrus, and she daubed it with bitumen and with pitch. And she put the child in it, and placed it in the reeds by the lip of the Nile. And his sister took her stand from a distance, to know what would be done to him. And the daughter of Pharaoh went down to bathe at the Nile. And her slave women were walking on the side of the Nile. And she saw the basket in the midst of the reeds, and sent her slave-girl and took it. And she opened it and saw the child, and, behold, a boy crying! And she had pity on him and said, This one is of the children of the Hebrews. And his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call a woman for you, a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you? And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the girl went and called the child’s mother. And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give your wages. And the woman took the child and nursed him. And the child grew, and she brought him to the daughter of Pharaoh. And he became a son to her, and she called his name Moses, and said, Because I drew him out of the water. (Exo 2:1-10 LITV)6
For Him to execute His plan. He raised Moses in Pharaoh’s courts. Whom He would eventually use to lead Israel out from captive bondage. He trained Moses in all matters concerning governing, leading and rul-ing a nation. The Lord would lead him into the wilderness fourty years as a herdsman. He was preparing him to lead a nation out from captiv-ity.
His mother suckled him when Moses was still a babe. This done under covering of the watchful eye of Pharaoh’s Daughter. In due course, she showed him to her father. She declared that she has adopted Moses as her own son and an heir after her, for she was barren.
Pharaoh’s daughter adopted him; raising him as her own son. She also trained him in Egypt’s Royal Lifestyle. According to Josephus and the Book of Jasher. During this time, the Lord raised Moses up as one of their finest generals. His father taught him to read and write in Pharaoh’s courts.

YHVH’s Answer

It happened that Mosheh saw an Egyptian (Mitsrian) strike a fellow He-brew. On seeing this, his ire rose within him. Through defending his fel-low Hebrew from the Mitsrian. He killed the Egyptian .
The following day he came across two fellow Hebrews fighting. Once more, he intervened. He was hoping to prove that he would be their future liberator. They remarked on his previous action asking _ _ _.
“By whom are you placed charge o’er us? Will you do us in as you did your fellow citizen?” This became knowledge to Pharaoh, who wanted Mosheh’s head . They were aware of his able, capable leadership potential
Immediately Moses (Mosheh) fled leaving Mitsrayim behind! For fear of his life! On his way, to Midian! Mosheh (Moses) came across a Midianite well. Where seven daughters of Midian’s priest made ready to water their flocks. During which time some uncouth shepherds arrived, rough-ly pushing them aside . Straightway he acted and watered their flocks, keeping the uncouth aside to wait their turn.
Through the courtesy, which he showed these sisters, they arrived at their home earlier than usual. Their father enquired about their early re-turn. On hearing of Moses benevolence, Reuel (his title being Yithro meaning Excellency) the priest of Midian desired to reward Moses ac-cordingly.
For the courtesy, he showed his daughters Reuel (the Midian priest), enquired about Moses. He desired to return this courtesy being the head of the house. He wanted to prepare a table in his honour.
