Scripture

Brothers, I speak according to man, a covenant having been ratified, even among mankind, no one sets aside or adds to it. But the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed (it does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," which is Christ). And I say this, A covenant having been ratified before to Christ by God, the Law coming into being four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul the promise, so as to abolish it. For if the inheritance is of Law, it is no more of promise; but God has given it to Abraham through promise. (Gal 3:15-18 LITV)

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman. Howbeit the son by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the son by the freewoman is born through promise. Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar. Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her which hath the husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman. (Gal 4:21-30)

1. Grace or Law 

  When reading this scripture and follow through to Gal 4\:30; we notice an interesting point as Paul explains the difference between  Law and Grace. He points out the difference between Abraham's two sons. the one (Ishmael) born of the bondwoman, Sarah's maidservant. The other (Isaac) who is the Son of Promise.
  Both have a prophetic connotation. Ishmael representing the Law and Isaac representing the Promised One Who would come,  dying on behalf of all mankind. The original plan upon God's Heart was to create us in His image.
God's Love is so great that He created us to be loved by Him. When He originally created man, He formed us with His hands and fingers. From Scripture we see; God created all things, through the Authority and Power of His Word.
We are certain that He calls those things which are not as though they are. We read also that without The Word of the Lord, nothing could come into existence. Scripture also tells us, our Lord Honours His Word above His Name!
What has this to do with this matter concerning Grace or Law?
I am glad you asked! Though we claim to have the wisdo0m of the sages across all the ages, we may still be missing something of vital importance! We understand from the Scripture that everything which our God created and made, was Good, Perfect and Beautiful. All these things took place well before the time of Moses and the Law
In fact, Abram was called from out of Ur of the Chaldees, to possess the Promises of God. He received God's covenant promises of Redemption.
  Historical records reveal, his house, and family were originally idol worshippers. Evidence supports Ur of the Chaldees as been the home of Moon Worship. He would thus be classified as a gentile. Soon his status would be changed, from idol worship to that of our father of faith. He would be known as God's Friend! The father of many nations. His wife Sarai with him.

        2. Name Changes

God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received the commandment to bless: And he hath blessed, and I cannot reverse it. 

(Num 23:19-20)

During the course of time, God called him from out of his people, kindred, country, and nation. Before Abram's time, there were no such people known as Hebrews or Israel. This only came to pass during Jacob's lifetime. Previously we came across Abram's call. He is instructed by the Lord to leave his people and to follow Him! Abraham was the forerunner and.father of our Faith. 

When the Lord called him out of Ur he was known as the exalted father (Abram). That being the original meaning of his name. Although known as the exalted father, Sarai his wife was unfruitful, barre; she could not give Abram a son. During those days, as also today Abram sought an heir, to whom he could leave his inheritance. while living among his people he saw the fallacy of their idols.

He diligently sought after the Truth, and the Truth found him. Scripture reminds us when we diligently seek the Lor, with all our heart, we shall be found by Him; -.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and giveth seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isa 55:6-11 RV)

 As Abram walked with God, he became known as God's friend. His life spoke of God's Goodness toward him in the land of the living. His faith increased daily! when the time was right the Lord promised they (Abram & Sarai) shall have an heir. In the course of time the Lord changes his name from the exalted father (Abram) to that of Father of Many Nations; Father of a Multitude (Abraham). So doing the Lord confirmed His original Covenant which He made with Abraham, adding Blessing upon Blessing. 

Abraham increased in wealth, becoming a very wealthy man. Though he increased in blessings, he still sought the Lord for the Promise. Through this Promised Seed all the nations, peoples of the Earth would be blessed. When they blessed Abraham they were also blessed! When they cursed Abraham they were also cursed. This even today. in our time is true. Originally the Lord promised Abraham that He would bless him. Confirming that they who bless Abraham would be blessed, They who curse Abraham would be cursed! 

The Almighty always makes His Word Sure. He is still God1 Let God be God! Each man or woman, a sinner! God is not a man that He would lie, neither the son of man that He should repent_ _ _!

In light of the most recent developments in Yisrael  and the Middle East, as Believers we are to be able to read the signs and times we are living in. For these are definitely historic and prophetic times we are living in. We are desperately in need of an Issachar Anointing, to be able to read and understand these times and seasons we are currently living in.

It is recorded that in David's Courts  (i.e. among his Courtiers), were men and children of Issachar! These could read and understand times and seasons. Their gifting was there to assist David, as to that which the Lord would be doing at that ntime. Remember Amos writes saying: -  "The Lord God will not do anything first, before He lets His Servants the Prophets know  the secrets (hidden things) concerning what He is about to do." (Amos 3:7)
