1 To Whom Shall We Go?

To whom shall we go? A very good question indeed! Who has the answers to all our queries, questions, doubts and unbelief? We know Jesus is the Messiah! (Yeshua Ha Mashiach)! He alone has the Words of Life! Does He write us off when we miss the mark? No! Most certainly not! Neither does He cast us away nor condemn us! It is written; "A bruised reed He will not break; neither shall He put out a smoking flax!

Scripture

He will not cry out, nor raise His voice,
Nor cause His voice to be heard in the street.
³ A bruised reed He will not break,
And [a]smoking flax He will not [b]quench;
He will bring forth justice for truth.
⁴ He will not fail nor be discouraged,
Till He has established justice in the earth;

2 Whom do you Say_ _ _

2.1 Simon Peter

Scripture
From this time many of His disciples went away into the things behind, and no longer walked with Him. Therefore, Jesus said to the Twelve, Do you also wish to go? Then Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the Words of everlasting life. And we have believed and have known that You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Now there was a time when some who followed Him (Yeshua/Jesus); were offended through His teaching! They decided to follow their own way, not wanting to follow Yeshua further. During this time our Lord asked the twelve, "do you also want to leave? "
Simon Peter (Cephas/Kepha) answered with his now famous words; Lord to whom shall we go? You have the Words of Everlasting Life!_ _ _ we have believed and know You are Messiah (You are the Christ), the Son of the Living God!"
Remember Peter was among the first of the twelve to who was revealed the truth of Yeshua's Deity. There had also been a time when Yeshua asked the twelve whom they understood; He was? The twelve replied answering;  "Some say Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah John the Baptist or one of the ancient prophets who has returned from the grave. "
Even today these same scoffers and mockers are saying the same things. Their eyes are blinded! Their ears deafened! They rather prefer to believe the lie more than the Truth! Having a form of Godliness, yet denying the power and truth of the Matter.
Full of emptiness! Thinking they know all things! Being wise in the eyes of the world, yet unlearned and foolish when it comes to the things of God! These serve gods of their own making.

2.2 Paul

Even as the Apostle Paul said,
" since the beginning of all creation; His (God's). Invisible traits and attributes are clearly seen! Thereby clearly understanding; all things were created and made by Him through the Power of His Word. Even His Eternal Power,  Authority and Godhead; therefore they are without any excuse.
Though they know God they do not Glorify Him as God. Neither are they Grateful nor Thankful for the greatness of His Merciful Grace! Therefore becoming futile (incapable of producing any useful result; pointless). Their thoughts and understanding became darkened!
They are made blind! Becoming foolish in their hearts, without any understanding! Though they profess to be wise they become fools. For the fool in his heart says there is no God."

Scripture

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known of God is revealed in them, for God revealed it to them. For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse. Because, knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, neither gave thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools and traded the glory of the incorruptible God for the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things. Therefore God also gave them up in the lusts of their hearts to uncleanness, that their bodies should be dishonoured among themselves; who exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason, God gave them up to vile passions. For their women changed the natural function into that which is against nature. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural function of the woman, burned in their lust toward one another, men doing what is inappropriate with men, and receiving in themselves the due penalty of their error. Even as they refused to have God in their knowledge, God gave them up to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, malice; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil habits, secret slanderers, backbiters, hateful to God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, without understanding, covenant breakers, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but also approve of those who practice them.

3 Whom or what do you Worship

Worshipping man-made images of nature calved in stone, creatures and every other created thing, except Creator God Who Reigns from Eternity to Eternity! Who Alone is Worthy of Praise Honour and Glory! He created all things, through the power of His Word!
Peter confessed Yeshua Ha Mashiach, acknowledging, he confirmed Yeshua is the Son of the Living God (Elohim;)! He is Immanuel! (i.e God with us!)! Now whom do we say Yeshua Ha Mashiach is to us? Whom do you say He is? What does He mean to you? What are you going to do with Hm?
To whom shall we go, realizing He alone has the Words of Truth? Our Lord still honours His Word above His Name! He spoke, calling those things which are not as though they are! Even today He still speaks!

3.1 Therefore_ _ _

Rather! He desires for all men everywhere to come to Repentance! Now is the time for Salvation! There is no better time than the present! Today when you hear His Voice! Do not harden your hearts as in the time of provocation; when you provoked Me.

3.2 Although

Although man would readily cast us away when we do not make the mark nor pass their grade! Remember life has always been a challenge! To all who dare go against the status quo, undeterred by the world's general consensus because of our high moral stand!
Here is the Hope we have in Him (Yeshua Ha Mashiach); when sin and our enemy comes in: Like a flood, the Holy Spirit raises His (YHVH's) Standard against him (sin and Satan)! Whom Yeshua (Jesus) our Lord already overcame; making an open show of him on the cross!

4 He always remains Faithful

Despite several issues we face, our Lord; always remains Faithful & True. Yes! Whether, we like it or not; everyone, (i.e. all of us) have various issues we regularly!  Often we battle with all our shortcomings. All fall short in many matters and areas of life. Through God's Grace, we need to deal with them.  We are reminded to be slow to anger; to practice self-control.

Scripture

Brothers, I speak according to man, a covenant having been ratified, even among mankind, no one sets aside or adds to it. But the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his Seed (it does not say, And to seeds, as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," which is Christ). And I say this, A covenant having been ratified before to Christ by God, the Law coming into being four hundred and thirty years after, does not annul the promise, so as to abolish it. For if the inheritance is of Law, it is no more of promise; but God has given it to Abraham through promise. (Gal 3:15-18 LITV)

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, one by the handmaid, and one by the freewoman. Howbeit the son by the handmaid is born after the flesh; but the son by the freewoman is born through promise. Which things contain an allegory: for these women are two covenants; one from mount Sinai, bearing children unto bondage, which is Hagar. Now this Hagar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to the Jerusalem that now is: for she is in bondage with her children. But the Jerusalem that is above is free, which is our mother. For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; Break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: For more are the children of the desolate than of her which hath the husband. Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise. But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now. Howbeit what saith the scripture? Cast out the handmaid and her son: for the son of the handmaid shall not inherit with the son of the freewoman. (Gal 4:21-30)

1. Grace or Law 

  When reading this scripture and follow through to Gal 4\:30; we notice an interesting point as Paul explains the difference between  Law and Grace. He points out the difference between Abraham's two sons. the one (Ishmael) born of the bondwoman, Sarah's maidservant. The other (Isaac) who is the Son of Promise.
  Both have a prophetic connotation. Ishmael representing the Law and Isaac representing the Promised One Who would come,  dying on behalf of all mankind. The original plan upon God's Heart was to create us in His image.
God's Love is so great that He created us to be loved by Him. When He originally created man, He formed us with His hands and fingers. From Scripture we see; God created all things, through the Authority and Power of His Word.
We are certain that He calls those things which are not as though they are. We read also that without The Word of the Lord, nothing could come into existence. Scripture also tells us, our Lord Honours His Word above His Name!
What has this to do with this matter concerning Grace or Law?
I am glad you asked! Though we claim to have the wisdo0m of the sages across all the ages, we may still be missing something of vital importance! We understand from the Scripture that everything which our God created and made, was Good, Perfect and Beautiful. All these things took place well before the time of Moses and the Law
In fact, Abram was called from out of Ur of the Chaldees, to possess the Promises of God. He received God's covenant promises of Redemption.
  Historical records reveal, his house, and family were originally idol worshippers. Evidence supports Ur of the Chaldees as been the home of Moon Worship. He would thus be classified as a gentile. Soon his status would be changed, from idol worship to that of our father of faith. He would be known as God's Friend! The father of many nations. His wife Sarai with him.

        2. Name Changes

God is not a man, that he should lie; Neither the son of man, that he should repent: Hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received the commandment to bless: And he hath blessed, and I cannot reverse it. 

(Num 23:19-20)

During the course of time, God called him from out of his people, kindred, country, and nation. Before Abram's time, there were no such people known as Hebrews or Israel. This only came to pass during Jacob's lifetime. Previously we came across Abram's call. He is instructed by the Lord to leave his people and to follow Him! Abraham was the forerunner and.father of our Faith. 

When the Lord called him out of Ur he was known as the exalted father (Abram). That being the original meaning of his name. Although known as the exalted father, Sarai his wife was unfruitful, barre; she could not give Abram a son. During those days, as also today Abram sought an heir, to whom he could leave his inheritance. while living among his people he saw the fallacy of their idols.

He diligently sought after the Truth, and the Truth found him. Scripture reminds us when we diligently seek the Lor, with all our heart, we shall be found by Him; -.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, and giveth seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isa 55:6-11 RV)

 As Abram walked with God, he became known as God's friend. His life spoke of God's Goodness toward him in the land of the living. His faith increased daily! when the time was right the Lord promised they (Abram & Sarai) shall have an heir. In the course of time the Lord changes his name from the exalted father (Abram) to that of Father of Many Nations; Father of a Multitude (Abraham). So doing the Lord confirmed His original Covenant which He made with Abraham, adding Blessing upon Blessing. 

Abraham increased in wealth, becoming a very wealthy man. Though he increased in blessings, he still sought the Lord for the Promise. Through this Promised Seed all the nations, peoples of the Earth would be blessed. When they blessed Abraham they were also blessed! When they cursed Abraham they were also cursed. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah has prevailed over him.  An all out war has been declared upon the saints of God. A last days war to destroy My Children’s faith and trust in your Loving Abba Father.  It is a war to wear you out, My Child. Weep not at the enemy’s tactics, but LAUGH at him as I do, My Warrior Bride. Remember who I AM and who you are in Me.  I AM ALMIGHTY God.  I AM bigger than any problem you face. MY LOVE is more powerful than your fears.  I will see that you get justice, for I have heard your prayers and your cries. For I AM God and not man, the Holy One in your midst.  Follow Me, walk with Me, and be guided by My Spirit. Lean not to your own understanding, Dear One.  Fear not!  Be strong and courageous!  Stand fast.  The works of the devil have been destroyed at the Cross. 1.1 The Issachar Anointing

In light of the most recent developments in Yisrael and the Middle East, as Believers we are to be able to read the signs and times we are living in. For these are definitely historic and prophetic times we are living in. We are desperately in need of an Issachar Anointing, to be able to read and understand these times and seasons we are currently living in.
It is recorded that in David's Courts (i.e. among his Courtiers), were men and children of Issachar! These could read and understand times and seasons. Their gifting was there to assist David, as to that which the Lord would be doing at that time. “And of the sons of Issachar, having understanding of the times, to know what Israel should do. Their heads were two hundred, and all their brothers were at their command.” (See 1Ch 12:32 LITV).
Remember Amos writes saying: - “The Lord God will not do anything first, before He lets His Servants the Prophets know the secrets (hidden things) concerning what He is about to do." (See Amos 3:7). For the Lord knows the future, of what is about to take place in the times and seasons we are living in. Our Lord is always able to cause us to triumph.

 

1.2 Celebration

Before she travailed, she brought forth; before pain came to her, she delivered a male child. Who has heard a thing like this? Who has seen things like these? Shall the earth be brought forth in one day? Shall a nation be born in one step? For Zion travailed and also brought forth her sons. Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says Jehovah. Surely I cause birth, and hold back, says your God. (Isa 66:7-9 LITV)
Recently modern Yisrael (Israel) celebrated their 70th anniversary. For a number of years she had been away from her Godly Inheritance. This land was originally promised to Abraham and his descendants forever! The Lord, promised this land to them before their descent to Egypt. This is why Abraham is called our Father of Faith. The Lord is not a man that He should lie.
God is not a man that He should lie, nor a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? And has He spoken, and shall He not make it good? (Num 23:19 LITV).
Remember all His Promises are yes and Amen in Christ Jesus. We are able to participate with the Lord’s plans for this season. During 1948 Israel was rebirthed and they returned to their promised inheritance, as prophesied by Isaiah and the prophets. About thirty years prior Lord Balfour approached Rothschild for the establishing of a Zionist (Jewish) state.
The Lord was preparing to restore Israel. He was to fulfil His Promise to Yisrael (Israel) at this time. The prophetic word Of God spoken by the prophets of old was, about to be take place. For God always remembers His Promises. He desires to complete His Word. He always causes us to triumph. He honours His Word above His Name.
During this time the Balfour agreement was to be established. For Balfour heard and felt the heart of God, for the restoration of Israel as an independent state. He had been impressed upon his heart, through God to restore the Jews to their promised land.

During May 14th 1948 (5 Iyar 5708) modern Israel was rebirthed and she became an independent state. During the 1967 six day war Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) was recaptured under the Israeli Government. She (Yerushalayim) was, returned, back under Jewish rule. Jerusalem was back as Israel’s Capital, where she belongs.
Jerusalem (Yerushalayim) had always been God’s Capital for Yisrael (Israel). He is to reign the world from Jerusalem with an iron rod. Natural (Earthly) Jerusalem being a shadow of the Heavenly New Jerusalem. The Revelator writes in Revelations about the New Heaven and the New Earth (Rev21:1-27).
Now on 14th May 2018 Modern Israel celebrated her 70th anniversary. At the same time Jerusalem would be recognized and acknowledged as the eternal capital of modern Israel. Yet she had always been known as the place from which God would reveal His Glory to the nations. He is not about to allow this prime real estate of His to be divided among the nations.
For, behold, in those days and in that time, when I bring again the exiles of Judah and Jerusalem, I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat. And I will enter into judgment with them there, for My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; and they shared out My land. And they have cast lots for My people. And they have given a boy for a prostitute and sold a girl for wine, and they drank. And also, what are you to Me, Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Are you restoring repayment to Me? And if you are repaying Me, I will turn your reward on your own head, swiftly, speedily, in that you have taken My silver and My gold and have carried My good treasures to your temples. You have also sold the sons of Judah and the sons of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you might remove them far from their border. Behold, I am arousing them from the place where you have sold them, and will return your reward on your own head. (Joe 3:1-7 LITV)
He promised Abraham on calling him from out of his people to this Promised Land. He challenged Abraham, yeah even as He challenges us today. When calling Abraham from his people, He promised that He shall bless them whom bless him (Yisrael), and curse they whom curse him (Israel) (see Gen 12:1-8).
These blessings are also part of our present day inheritance. We are heirs of the Father and joint heirs with the Son. All of creation awaits the revealing of God’s sons & daughters. This is one of the many reasons we need to pray for the peace of Yerushalayim and the house of Yisrael. The Lord tells us that whatever we do to the least of His people, we are doing to Him.
We are aware that salvation is for the Jew first and then the Gentile. Concerning this matter Paul writes to the Romans; I am a debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to wise, and to the foolish, so as far as it lies in me, I am eager to preach the gospel to you in Rome also. For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation to everyone believing, both to Jew first, and to Greek; for in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; even as it has been written, "But the just shall live by faith ."
For God's wrath is revealed from Heaven on all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, holding the truth in unrighteousness, because the thing known of God is clearly known within them, for God revealed it to them. (Rom 1:14-19 LITV)
E’en as Hab. 2:4 states the just shall live through their faith. Through our faith and belief in God’s promise of Life Salvation and Deliverance in Christ Jesus we are justified. Abraham also believed, trusting upon God’s Promise to him. Because He believed God’s promises it was accredited to him as righteousness. (See Gen 15:6; Rom 4:1-4).
During May this year (2018/May/14); Yisrael celebrated her 70th anniversary as previously mentioned, but that wasn’t going to be all. This same date, month, year Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) was acknowledged and recognized as Israel’s (Yisrael’s); eternal Capital. At the same time President Trump publicly declared it so. He also was the first and only US President, who moved their Embassy to Jerusalem (Yerushalayim).

1.3 On the Move

At the appointed, appropriate time the President decided to move the U.S. Embassy of Yisrael; into Yerushalayim. Their Embassy is the first one to be moved from Tel Aviv; to Jerusalem Israel. In so doing the U.S. President, confirmed the importance of Jerusalem (Yerushalayim) being God’s Eternal Capital over Yisrael (Israel).
Often we are required by our Lord to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Not just for Jerusalem but also for Israel and her peoples. Our Lord when in the Earth, often, told His Disciples (later Apostles) including the Ecclesia (The Church, the Body of Christ), we the Bride of Christ that we need to pray for Israel. He further said that which we do unto the least of these (His brethren/brothers); we are doing to Him.
We are reminded throughout Scripture how the Lord uses Israel to determine the prophetic seasons in our lifetime.

For it is written: -

“Behold, I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, and whoever believes in Him shall not be put to shame.” (Rom 9:33 TLV). For natural Israel is also a sign of our Lord’s dealings with us as the Body of Christ.Remember our Lord revealed His Plan of Reconciliation to Abraham, long before Israel became a nation. This same Plan was revealed to Isaac, Jacob (Yisrael), Joseph (Yoseph); all the Patriarchs and Prophets. The Lord also revealed His Plan to David and the rest of the House of Yisrael; before the birth of Messiah.
Throughout the ages the Lord revealed His Blueprint, bit by bit until the Fullness of Time had come. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent forth His Son, coming into being out of a woman, having come under Law, that He might redeem those under Law, so that we might receive the adoption of sons. And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. So that you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, also an heir of God through Christ. (Gal 4:4-7 MKJV).
Yerushalayim (Jerusalem) had always been the city from which our Lord reigned and raised up His Banner. But Jerusalem’s history wasn’t always as untainted as recorded in Scripture. The Lord always sent His servants the prophets to warn Jerusalem of any coming tragedies, which were on the way. During the time of Abraham (Abram), she was originally known as Salem (Shalem), the Place of Peace and her King was Melchizedec.
And Melchizedek, king of Salem, brought out bread and wine; and he was the priest of the Most High God. And he blessed him and said, Blessed be Abram of the Most High God, possessor of Heaven and earth; and blessed be the Most High God, who has delivered your enemies into your hand. And he gave him a tithe of all. (Gen 14:18-20 LITV)

To all the Mothers out there: -

May you all; Have a Beautiful, Blessed & Marvelous Mother's Day! This is a blessed position to be in! 'tis writtten to all husbands, men, marriages and families "Whoever has fond a wife; has found a Good Thing, He also receive favour from the Lord! 
Since before time; Marriage was in God's Plan for Man! For He saw it was not good for a man to be alone. So He made a Help Meet for Him! 
Why? So He would be able to have and raise, an Holy Righteous Godly offspring! An Holy, Righteous, Godly Seed! We are certain and know God does not make a faulty, unrighteous Creaation, We were mad, created and formed in His image. 
We know whatever God made is good! Yet our inniquity has brought a division between an Holy God and an unholy, fallen creation. Yet our God remains Faithful, even unto the end. 
His Mercy, His Goodness daily brings many to repentance, Salvation and Mercy! 
He still gives us another chance to return to Him! In His Presence, His Love; there is Liberty! Not liberty to sin and do as we will, paying in the flesh, our soul, our spirit our intelect for the wrong we do! Rather to save, restore and reconcile ourselves to Him! 
Therefore today do not harden your heart toward or against Him as the people of ancient times had done. Rather let us return to Him. He thought and saw it fitting to give Man his wife, making her the Mother of their children. Mothers are important, special people. It takes a special God Kind of annointing, for awomen to be Mothers! A Help Meet for their Husband and a Mother for her children!

The Spirit Of Religion Wants To Steal Your Mic!

I am not a huge dreamer. Some people can take a power nap and get a prophetic dream, not me. However, when I do have a dream from the Lord, I take notice. When He chooses to speak to me through a dream I know it’s important! I want to share with you a dream I had several months ago. It was one of those times that even during the dream I was aware that there was substance to it. The Lord was revealing something and I needed to pay attention. After I share the dream, I will explain the interpretation, though it’s rather obvious.

In my dream, I was invited to speak at a very large church. I knew that it wasn’t the kind of church that I would generally be invited to speak at. It just wasn’t in the circles that I would usually be connected with. I knew I needed to go and accepted the invite.

Upon arriving I was given a tour of the building. It was huge! When I was escorted to the sanctuary the size was unbelievable. It stretched beyond what the outside of the building would seem to allow. It was uncommonly large in a way that transcended physical possibilities. My guide escorted me to my seat and I was given a microphone. I understood that after worship I would take the stage and preach.

During the painfully dry worship set, the Lord began to download a message into me. I resisted as I knew they would not receive a message like that in a place like this. It was a message that would severely challenge along with a call to come out of the dead place they were in. The urgency of the message grew stronger and I knew it was the Word of the Lord so I resolved to declare what He had given me.

As the worship music began to close I reached down for the microphone I had been given. It was gone! Instantly I had a knowing that it was stolen. Someone had intentionally taken the mic from me! Knowing I had heard from the Lord I approached what I believed to be the pastor of the church. I told him that someone had taken my microphone. He shrugged it off, unconcerned, and said that he would just preach instead.

I then watched as he stepped up to the podium and began to deliver a message that literally made me nauseous. A sick feeling settled deep in my stomach as I heard him spew lifeless venom through his message. Surely the congregation would not receive this? I stared out at the crowd and saw a sea of people, eyes glazed over with no expression on their face. They were taking it in the way a patient would succumb to an anesthetic. The crowd was being lulled to sleep and seemed to enjoy it. It was what they wanted.

I then noticed how the “pastor” moved about on the stage. He moved with an unnatural gait. It wasn’t just odd, it was inhuman. I realized that I was watching a demon spirit and not a man. He was not releasing the gospel of life but a decree of death…and the people swallowed every word.

I awoke from the dream so grieved in my spirit and reached for something to record what I had seen. I felt sad, troubled and angry at the same time! The Word of the Lord was halted through theft and deception while a spirit of religion released anesthetic poison to a crowd that stretched as far as I could see.

The Lord began to speak to me…

The spirit of religion wants to steal the mic! It seeks to silence the drawing forth that I would declare over My people. It will trade life for a lie, freedom for bondage and relationship for a mere ritual!

Just as an addict may depend on pain pills to get them through the day, many in the Body of Christ have succumbed to powerless religion to fill the void that is a product of not pursuing His presence. Instead of living in His glory, we choose to simply check a box. The scriptures are not silent regarding the spiritual nature of not just the world but those who claim to be believers:

But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come:

For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,

traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!

– 2 Timothy 3:1-5

There is a lullaby of religion that would sing us to sleep if we allow. It will dress us up to look the part all the while offering a life of compromise. You see, compromise isn’t just the sins we can all usually agree on. Compromise is anything less than the relationship the Father intended when the veil was torn and the Bride was invited to enter into the chambers of holiness and presence.

Sunday after Sunday, multitudes sit in church, proudly feeling as if they have done their due diligence when it comes to being unashamedly devoted to living for the One who shed His blood for us. Would Jesus approve of the mediocrity of much of today’s church? Have many have traded true intimacy for an imitation? Instead of seeing a book of Acts church are we seeing a church who is simply acting?

Don’t get me wrong. I am not talking about being exuberant for the sake of being exuberant. We can also get religious about manifesting something that the Spirit of God is not in, just because flesh expects it. We do not need a fabrication of the Spirit any more than the stifling of the Spirit.

I encourage you reader, stand firm against the spirit of religion who would seek to steal your mic, your message of power and holiness, of relationship and intimacy. Shake off the stagnation and proclaim the full gospel that produces progression and not idleness. It is time for the church to wake up! It is time for the saints to arise! No more sleeping saints!
