Let us Celebrate
Let's Celebrate
They Saw & Celebrated |
Celebration
Now it came to pass after the child was born, wise men came from the East; seeking whom they knew was the Saviour of the world. They first sought for Him at Herod's Palace. For they saw this great star, coming in the horison. These wise men, were also known as kings from the East. From their vast knowledge and understanding of the stars and heavenly signs, they concluded there would be born a Heavenly King. Whom would rule, reign and bring Peace to the troubled worlds.
Thus they sought the Prince to be born at Herod's Palace. Like today they thought he would be a great ruler, bringing joy to their people and the world. Yet they first sought at a worldly palace. They thought He would be found in Herod's court. Yet the Sovereign of their day would not be aware of such matters. So he asked the courtiers, chief priests of his temple, whether they were aware of this royal birth.
When going through their archives, the priests came across Micah's words which were recorded many years ago which clearly stated this Truth: -
Now gather yourself in troops, O daughter of troops; a state of siege has been placed against us. They shall smite the ruler of Israel with a rod (a scepter) on the cheek.2 But you, Bethlehem Ephratah, you are little to be among the clans of Judah; [yet] out of you shall One come forth for Me Who is to be Ruler in Israel, Whose goings forth have been from of old, from ancient days (eternity).3 Therefore shall He give them up until the time that she who travails has brought forth; then what is left of His brethren shall return to the children of Israel. (Micah 5:1-2 & Mt2:1-12 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition AMPC)
Now Herod had become jealous, because he thought he would reign forever. He was not planning to give over his sovereignty to anyone, let alone a new born baby of about two years old. After finding out about the new born prince, he under pretense of sincerity, enquired the time of the star's appearing. He then sent these wise men on their way, toward Bethlehem.
With another agenda asked them once they've found the child; to inform him where he is to be found, so he would also be able to see and worship him. Immediately the star once more appeared in the heavens, and lead these kings to where the Prince of Peace was with Mary, His mother. After giving their gifts of frankincense, gold and myrrh!
After worshipping Him, they passed home another way; being divinely warned the child was in danger. The Creator of the Heavens and Earth, Divinely intervened on behalf of this His Holy Child, instructed them to flee toward Egypt. He had been aware all the time of Herod's unrighteous murderous intentions.
When the Kings of the East returned passage another way instead of informing Herod, he decreed to put to death all Bethlehem's male children two years and younger. "Ramah lamenting, weeping and great mourning, Rachel weeping for her children refusing comfort because they were no more;" as recorded, said and seen by Jeremiah the prophet. (See Mt2:1-18 NKJ).
A Question
What and whom are we celebrating over this festive season? We are aware that this may not necessary be a christian festival. When reading or researching this Celebration; we discover ancient pagan roots are found in its foundation. On Which or whose foundation are we building? According to the Apostle Paul and our Lord's own Words_ We are either building on a foundation of sand; or on the foundation of the Rock, which is Higher than us.
When our foundation is insecure and our house built on sand, storms come, winds blow and the house will fall. Also which material are we using to build our walls? When our Foundation is Secure and built on the Rock, though winds may blow, storms may come our house shall stand! Yet though we build on the Sure Foundation, Chief Cornerstone we still are to be sure how we build.
Remember the children's story about the three little pigs> The one used straw, the other, wood, and the last one used brick. They all had the same arch enemy (Wolf). He threatened to have them for lunch. He huffed and he puffed and blew all their houses down; except the wiser of the three. He built with walls of brick. His foundation secure.
When Wolf came to destroy the house of brick,he was unable to do any of them harm, or have lunch. So he tries the chimney only to end in hot soup. That was the end of wolf. Why do I tell this story? Simply, the reason is what foundation are we building on? Are our houses built upon sand or on the Rock? Are we using inferior material? Whom do we celebrate? Are we aware of times and seasons? Do we know the time of our Lord's Visitation? He is and always shall remain God in Flesh as is recorded by John:-
In the Beginning was the Word
"In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with Elohim, and the Word was Elohim. He was in the beginning with Elohim. All came to be through Him,a and without Him not even one came to be that came to be. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. There was a man sent from Elohim, whose name was Yohanan. This one came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all might believe through him. He was not that Light, but that he might bear witness of that Light. He was the true Light, which enlightens every man, coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came to be through Him, and the world did not know Him. He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name, who were born, not of blood nor of the desire of flesh nor of the desire of man, but of Elohim. And the Word became flesh and pitched His tent among us, and we saw His esteem, esteem as of an only brought-forth of a father, complete in favour and truth. Yohanan bore witness of Him and cried out, saying, “This was He of whom I said, ‘He who comes after me has become before me, because He was before me.’ ” And out of His completeness we all did receive, and favour upon favour, for the Torah was given through Mosheh – the favour and the truth came through YESHUA Messiah. No one has ever seen Elohim. The only brought-forth Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He did declare."(Joh 1:1-18 TS2009)
He Whom was born that day in Bethlehem; the same is The Lamb of God Whom takes away the sin of the world. He is no longer the babe in the manger. He is still the Saviour of the world. He died at Calvary! On the third day He arose; from the Grave! Neither could Death nor would Hades hold Him! He is our Life Giver! On the Tree He defeated the enemy of our soul! He always causes us to triumph!
Everything came into existence through His Spoken Word. Nothing came into being (existence)without Him. By Faith we know and understand all the worlds are framed through God's Word. Those things seen were not made of things which are visible (see Heb 11:1-3). He calls those things which be not as though they were (see Rom 4:16-22).
(See also: - Footnote: a Eph 3:9, Col 1:16, Heb 1:2, Heb 11:3, 2Pet 3:5, Ps 33:6. As also Footnote: b Jn 5:37, Jn 6:46, 1Jn 4:12.TS2009)
One Last Thing
Let us celebrate the day of our Lord's birth any way. But remember He does not compare to the pagan feasts, festivals of yore. Even though we celebrate His Birth; remember He grew up and became our Sacrificial Lamb, slain before the Earth's Foundation. He was right at the Beginning of Time. He is and remains the Living Word of God!
Are we going to Celebrate Him: -
- As the Babe of Bethlehem?
- As our only Mediator between God and man?
- As the Prince of Peace?
- Our Crucified, Resurrected Saviour of the world?
- Our soon coming King?
Or_ _ _
Are we going to celebrate Christmas like the rest of the world. Probably bowing down to the Pagan deities of the Ancient World.
Are we going to celebrate Christmas like the rest of the world. Probably bowing down to the Pagan deities of the Ancient World.
Our Challenge
Our Challenge is similar to that of Joshua and Caleb_ _ _
"Now you must fear the LORD and serve him in faithfulness and truth. Throw away the gods that your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Instead, serve the LORD. If you think it's the wrong thing for you to serve the LORD, then choose for yourselves today whom you will serve—the gods whom your ancestors served on the other side of the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose territories you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD. In response, the people said, "Far be it from us that we should abandon the LORD to serve other gods, since the LORD our God is the One who brought us and our ancestors up from the land of Egypt, from a life of slavery. He did those great things right in front of us, preserving us along the way that we traveled and among all the peoples through whose territory we passed. The LORD expelled all the people before us, including the Amorites who lived in the land. Therefore, we also will serve the LORD, for he is our God." So Joshua told the people, "You will not be able to serve the LORD, because he is a God of Holiness. He is a jealous God, and he will forgive neither your transgressions nor your sins. If you abandon the LORD and serve foreign deities, then he will turn and do you harm, consuming you after all the good he has done for you." "No," the people replied to Joshua. "We will serve the LORD." Joshua responded, "You are giving testimony against yourselves, that you have chosen to serve the LORD." They replied, "We are witnesses!" Joshua said, "Therefore abandon the foreign gods that are among you, and turn your hearts to the LORD, the God of Israel." The people replied, "We will serve the LORD our God and obey his voice." So Joshua made a covenant with the people that day, making statutes and ordinances in Shechem. He wrote these words in the Book of the Law of God, took a large stone, moved it under the shade of the oak tree that was near the sanctuary of the LORD, and then told all of the people, "Look! This stone will testify for us, because it has heard everything that the LORD has spoken to us. So it will stand as a witness against you in the event that you deny your God."(Jos 24:14-27 International Standard Version)
Behold I set before you this day; Blessing or Cursing! Death or Life! Therefore Choose Life!
As for me and my house we will serve the Lord!
Let us Celebrate the Lord our God!
Choose this day whom you will serve_ _ _

The
Eternal Capital
President Trump took a bold statement by declaring Jerusalem
to be the capital of Israel. Many Christian leader criticised the decision,
like the Pope and Desmond Tutu. Many Christians have any idea what the
implication is or really do not care. I am posting my teaching regarding Why is
Jerusalem important to us? The time has come for us as believers in Jesus
(Yeshua) has to take a stand. You are either for the existence of Israel or you
are against, there is no other option.
Why is Jerusalem IMPORTANT To US?
50 Years ago, on 7 June 1967 Jerusalem were liberated from
the Jordanians. Temple Mount were also liberated, but because of political
pressure it was given back to Jordan to manage the complex via the Waqf. The number 50 is associated with the year of
Jubilee, in which land is returned to it’s original owner.
When will Temple Mount also known as Mount Zion be liberated
and put under control of Israel?
On 14 July 2017 Israel took control over Temple Mount, from
the Jordan Waqf, after a fatal terror attack wherein two Druze policemen who
was on duty on Temple Mount were killed. Unfortunately, the control was not
permanent and Israel had to give it back after political pressure.
Everyone most probably will ask, but why? Why is Jerusalem
or the Temple Mount so important? Or why would a believer in Jesus/Yeshua as
the Messiah even bother about Jerusalem of Temple Mount? In English there is a
saying “the hand that rocks the cradle is the hand that rocks the world”. This
saying teaches that the one involved with the caring and upbringing of the
children is the one that determined the future of the world. The same applies
to Jerusalem and more precise Temple Mount or Zion. According to Islam the one
that controls Temple Mount controls the world. Is there something they know
what we don’t?
If we look at decisions taken by the UN, governments and
businesses across the world we can truly ask. Who rules the world? God created
the earth and planted a garden in the middle of His creation. In Judaism the Garden
of Eden was at the exact location where Jerusalem is today.
- Eze 5:5 “Thus said the Master YHVH, This is Yerushalayim
which I have set in the midst of the gentiles, with the other lands all around
her.
- Eze 38:12 to take
plunder and to take booty, to stretch out your hand against the waste places
that are again inhabited, and against a people gathered from the gentiles,
acquiring livestock and goods, who dwell in the middle of the land.
The idea that Jerusalem is in the middle of the earth and
everything is around it, was not only limited to Judaism. In the middle ages a
few world maps were made with Jerusalem as the centre of the world.
It is all about perspective. If you make Jerusalem the
centre of the earth your whole perspective start to change. You look at the
world, world events and your own world differently. Our world view is situated
around our capitals, and the capital city is seen as the centre of that country
or our world. The focus of wars and revolutions is always the capital city,
because if the capital falls the country falls. In the time when England ruled
the earth through the Common Wealth, London was deemed to be the centre of the
earth. Because in their eyes England were the most important country. That is
why the Greenwich timeline goes through London. Before England ruled the world
all the seafarers used the capital city of their country as point 0.
The longitude of 0 was the beacon to bring the seafarers
home. The longitude of 0 does not only determine direction it also determine
time. We are on our way to Jerusalem the eternal capital of the Kingdom of God,
with Jesus/Yeshua as the King. Therefore our longitude of 0 must go thru
Jerusalem. If our world view does not make Jerusalem our capital we are going
to lose our focus and direction. We are going to replace Israel with the Church
(replacement theology) and end up with 100 of thousands small “Israel’s” with
just as many dogmas.
Can we still say that the Garden of Eden and Jerusalem are
located at the same place? After the flood everything changed. The Garden of
Eden were destroyed as the rest of the earth. Nobody can say exactly if
Jerusalem was the physical location of Eden. If God is going to restore the
earth through Jesus/Yeshua the Messiah then He will restore the Garden of Eden
as well. I would like to use the
American political system to explain the following: USA’s capital city is
Washington and congress, the body that makes legislation is situated there.
The
house of the President is called the White House. If the president of the USA
makes a statement they say the “White House said”. When congress makes a
statement they say “Washington said”.
The White House, Washington and USA becomes synonyms of each other in
certain instances. In the same manner Zion, Jerusalem and Israel becomes
synonyms of each other in certain instances.
Israel is the land and Jerusalem is the capital, where Zion
is the dwelling place of the King. Zion also includes Temple Mount. The Kings
of Israel had direct access to the Temple from there dwelling place. God
created the earth and He rounded of His creation by planting a Garden in the
middle.
- Gen 2:8 And
YHVH Elohim planted a garden in Ěḏen, to the east, and there He put the man
whom He had formed. Eden (Ndo) means luxury, dainty, delight, finery, adorn.
- Gen 2:8 And
YHVH Elohim planted a garden in luxury/finery ((Ndob), to the east, and there
He put the man whom He had formed.
Then God created man as His representative on earth, to rule
over God’s creation from the garden. The garden become the capital and it is
also here where God walks with His representative or ambassador, in
relationship. The garden became the place on earth where heaven and earth meets.
- Gen 2:15
And YHVH Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Ěḏen to work it and
to guard it.
- Gen
3:8 And they heard the sound of Elohim
walking about in the garden in the cool of the day, and Aḏam and his wife hid
themselves from the presence of YHVH Elohim among the trees of the garden.
In the middle of the
garden stood two trees.
- Gen 2:9 And
out of the ground YHVH Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the
sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and
the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
The middle of the garden represents Temple Mount and the
Garden of Eden represents Jerusalem. Eden/Jerusalem on earth becomes the type
of the Jerusalem in Heaven.
- Heb
12:22-23 But you have drawn near to Mount Tsiyon and to the city of the living
Elohim, to the heavenly Yerushalayim, to myriads of messengers, 23 to the entire gathering and assembly of the
first-born having been enrolled in heaven, and to Elohim the Judge of all, and
to the spirits of righteous men made perfect,
- Heb
11:10-16 for he was looking for the city having foundations, whose builder and
maker is Elohim. 11 By belief also, Sarah herself was enabled to conceive seed,
and she bore a child when she was past the normal age, because she deemed Him
trustworthy who had promised. 12 And so from one, and him as good as dead, were
born as numerous as the stars of the heaven, as countless as the sand which is
by the seashore. 13 In belief all these died, not having received the promises,
but seeing them from a distance, welcomed and embraced them, and confessed that
they were aliens and strangers on the earth. 14 For those who speak this way
make it clear that they seek a fatherland. 15 And yet, if they had indeed kept
remembering that place from which they had come out, they would have had the
chance to return. 16 But now they long for a better place, that is, a heavenly.
Therefore Elohim is not ashamed to be called their Elohim, for He has prepared
a city for them.
We as believers must have the same attitude and belief as
Abraham. We must be aliens and strangers on this earth, because then we long
for the land that was promised to us which we will receive in the Messianic
Era. If our attitude is that the world we live in is everything and it is the
centre of our world why would we long for a better one? As it was in the beginning
so it will be in the end
Garden
of Eden
New
Jerusalem
Gen 1:1 In the beginning Elohim created the heavens and the
earth.
Rev 21:1 And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for
the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more.
Gen 2:8 And יהוה
Elohim planted a garden in Ěḏen (adorn), to the east, and there He put the man
whom He had formed.
Rev 21:2 And I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed
Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride
adorned for her husband.
Gen 2:9 And out of the ground יהוה
Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food,
with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge
of good and evil.
Rev 22:2 In the middle of its street, and on either side of
the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding
its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the
nations.
Gen 2:10 And a river went out of Ěḏen to water the garden,
and from there it divided and became four riverheads.
Rev 22:1 And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as
crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb.
Gen 3:8 And they heard the sound of יהוה Elohim walking about in the garden in the cool
of the day, and Aḏam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of יהוה Elohim among the trees of
the garden.
Rev 22:5 And night shall be no more, and they shall have no
need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה
Elohim shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever.
Gen 2:17 but do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you shall certainly die.”
Rev 22:3 And no longer shall there be any curse, and the
throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve
Him.
Satan comes in rebellion against God in Heaven and is
literally kicked out.
- Isa
14:12-14 “How you have fallen from the heavens, O Hĕlĕl(morning star), son of
the morning! You have been cut down to the ground, you who laid low the
gentiles! 13 “For you have said in your heart, ‘Let me go up to the heavens,
let me raise my throne above the stars of Ěl, and let me sit in the mount of
meeting on the sides of the north; 14 let me go up above the heights of the
clouds, let me be like the Most High.’
- Rev 12:7-9
And there came to be fighting in the heaven: Miḵa’ĕl and his messengers fought
against the dragon. And the dragon and his messengers fought, 8 but they were
not strong enough, nor was a place found for them in the heaven any longer. 9
And the great dragon was thrown out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and
Satan, who leads all the world astray. He was thrown to the earth, and his
messengers were thrown out with him.
Satan were cast to earth and immediately he change his focus
from God to God’s representative, His capital and more specific the middle of
the garden where heaven and earth meets.
- Eze
28:13-16 “You were in Ěḏen, the garden of Elohim. Every precious stone was
your covering: the ruby, topaz, and diamond, beryl, shoham, and jasper,
sapphire, turquoise, and emerald and gold. The workmanship of your settings and
mountings was prepared for you on the day you were created.14 “You were the
anointed keruḇ (cherub) that covered. And I placed you, you were on the
set-apart mountain of Elohim. You walked up and down in the midst of stones of
fire. 15 “You were perfect in your ways from the day you were created, until
unrighteousness was found in you. 16 “By the greatness of your trade you became
filled with violence within, and you sinned. So I thrust you from the mountain
of Elohim, and I destroyed you, O covering keruḇ, from the midst of the stones
of fire.
If Satan can overcome the capital city and the
representative of God. He will rule over God’s creation. Adam received the
command to work and guard the garden.
- Gen 2:15
And YHVH Elohim took the man and put him in the garden of Ěḏen to work it and
to guard it.
Has anybody asked from who should Adam guard the garden and
why? Satan came into the garden. Adam failed and at the same moment when he ate
from the wrong tree he handed his authority over to Satan. That is why he could
offer the kingdoms of the world to Jesus.
- Mat 4:8-9
Again, the devil took Him up on a very high mountain, and showed Him all the
reigns of the world, and their esteem, 9 and said to Him, “All these I shall
give You if You fall down and worship me.”
Even Jesus refer to Satan as the ruler of this world.
- Joh 12:31
“Now is the judgment of this world, now the ruler of this world shall be cast
out.
- Joh 16:11
concerning judgment because the ruler of this world is judged.
The
Conflict
The conflict over Jerusalem and specific Temple Mount is the
conflict over Eden. During the past year many decisions against Israel and
Temple Mount was taken. World powers refuse to acknowledge Israel’s claim over
Jerusalem and Zion. By doing that they are telling you; your Bible and faith is
wrong.
Satan comes to man in the form of a snake. Why a snake?
- Gen 3:1
And the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which YHVH Elohim
had made, and he said to the woman, “Is it true that Elohim has said, ‘Do not
eat of every tree of the garden’?”
Satan chose the animal that suites his personality. What he
stands for and represent. Satan could not choose man as his host because man
was at that moment sinless.
- Rev 13:11
And I saw another beast coming up out of the earth, and he had two horns like a
lamb and spoke like a dragon.
- 2Th 2:3-4
Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first,
and the man of lawlessness is to be revealed, the son of destruction, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that
is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that he sits as Elohim in the
Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing himself that he is Elohim.
The anti-messiah will look like a lamb, thus Jesus
Christ/Yeshua Messiah, but will speak like the dragon/snake, thus full of lies.
And he will make himself to be like God. The agent of Satan will rise in a time
of peace and security.
- 1Th 5:1-4
Now, brothers, as to the times and the seasons, you do not need to be written
to. 2 For you yourselves know very well that the day of YHVH comes as a thief
in the night. 3 For when they say, “Peace and safety!” then suddenly destruction
comes upon them, as labour pains upon a pregnant woman, and they shall not
escape. 4 But you, brothers, are not in darkness, so that this Day should
overtake you as a thief.
Most of the animosity and incitement today is against
Israel. Israel is being accused from all spectrums that they do not want peace
and that they are the ones standing in the way of peace. Jesus warns us about the abomination that
lays waste that would stand in the holy of holies.
- Mat
24:15-16 “So when you see the ‘abomination that lays waste,’ spoken of by
Dani’ĕl the prophet, set up in the set-apart place” – he who reads, let him
understand – 16 “then let those who are in Yehuḏah flee to the mountains.
For the abomination to stand in the holy of holies and the
man of lawlessness to sit on God’s throne, which is the Ark of the Covenant. We
need to have a Temple on Mount Zion. And for a Temple to be set up you need
Temple Mount to be under the control of Israel.
Melchizedek
(Malkisedeq)
- Before David
conquered Jerusalem and bought the thrashing floor, what became Temple Mount,
the city was always under control of pagan nations. The only other time
Jerusalem was under control of believers in YHVH was when Melchizedek was the
King of Salem.
Salem means completeness, peace, security and perfection.
Melchizedek is a combination of two words, melek which means king and tsedaq
which means righteous. Abraham meets the king of righteousness in the city of
peace.
- Heb 7:1-2
Now this man Melchizedek, king of Salem and priest of the Most High God, met
Abraham and blessed him when he was returning from defeating the kings. 2
Abraham gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything. In the first place, his name
means "king of righteousness," and then he is also king of Salem,
that is, "king of peace."
- Psa 76:1-2
In Yehudah Elohim is known; His Name is great in Yisra’ěl. 2 And His booth is
in Shalĕm,
Capture of Yerushalem (Jerusalem)
Jerusalem is a combination of two Hebrew words, ‘yara (ari)
which means to throw or shoot at. The same root for the word torah which means
instruction. The second word is shalem (Mls) which means peace. Jerusalem means
to receive instruction of peace.
Joshua and the children of Benjamin did not take Jerusalem
from the Jebusites. Only in the time of King David did it happen.
- 1Ch 11:4-5
And Dawiḏ and all Yisra’ěl went to Yerushalayim, which is Yeḇus, where the
Yeḇusites were, the inhabitants of the land. 5 And the inhabitants of Yeḇus
said to Dawiḏ, “You do not come in here.” But Dawiḏ captured the stronghold
of Tsiyon, the City of Dawiḏ.
In 1967 during the 6 day war Israel again captured Jerusalem
and Mount Zion from Jordan the exact same way David did from the Jebusites. The
big mistake Israel made on that day was to give Temple Mount back to Jordan
(the Moslems) to control till this day. During the time of king David and
Solomon Temple Mount was the dwelling place of YHVH. It was a period of peace
and prosperity.
Sadly Israel fell into idolatry and the enemies of Israel took
over the land and Temple Mount. Assyria, Babylon, Persia, Greece and the
Romans. After the Babylonian exile Israel were allowed to return but they were
not allowed to rebuild Jerusalem and the Temple.
Kores (Cyrus)
Then came Kores a Persian ruler who did not believe in YHVH.
- 2Ch
36:22-23 And in the first year of Koresh sovereign of Persia, in order to
accomplish the word of YHVH by the mouth of Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah), YHVH stirred
up the spirit of Koresh sovereign of Persia, so that he called out in all his
reign, and also put it in writing, saying, 23 “Thus said Koresh sovereign of
Persia, ‘YHVH Elohim of the heavens has given me all the reigns of the earth.
And He has commanded me to build Him a house in Yerushalayim, which is in
Yehuḏah. Whoever is among you of all His people, YHVH his Elohim be with him,
and let him go up!’ ”
This same Kores is called by God His anointed. Which means
he is a servant of YHVH.
- Isa 45:1
“Thus said YHVH to His anointed, to Koresh, whose right hand I have grasped, to
subdue nations before him and ungird the loins of sovereigns, to open before
him the double doors, so that gates are not shut:
Please do not call the person who will allow Israel to
rebuild the Temple the anti-Messiah, because he is not, he is chosen by YHVH
for the specific task. What happened in the time when Israel was re-building
the Temple?
- Neh 4:1-3
And it came to be, when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, that
he was wroth and highly offended, and mocked the Yehuḏim. 2 And he spoke
before his brothers and the army of Shomeron, and said, “What are these feeble
Yehuḏim doing? Are they going to restore, slaughter, complete it in a day? Are
they going to bring to life the stones from the heaps of rubbish which are
burned?” 3 And Toḇiyah the Ammonite was beside him, and he said, “Whatever
they build, if a fox should climb on it, he shall break down their stone wall.”
- Neh 4:7-8
And it came to be, when Sanballat and Toḇiyah, and the Araḇs, and the
Ammonites, and the Ashdoḏites heard that the walls of Yerushalayim were being
repaired and the broken places began to be filled, that they became very wroth,
8 and all of them conspired together to come to fight against Yerushalayim and
to do harm to it.
Greece takes over as “world power” from the Persians. Under
Antiochus Epiphanes the persecution of the Jews reached its climax, when he
defiled the Temple by slaughtering pigs on the altar of YHVH. This result in
the revolt of the Maccabees and the Temple were taken back and is under the
control of Israel. Is it possible that the people of Israel will came in revolt
against the future anti-Messiah because he will defile the Temple? Can it be
that because of there revolt, the final persecution against the people of
Israel will follow? And that the final persecution will result in the final
redemption of Israel and herald the coming of Messiah?
Yeshuah Ha Massiach (Jesus Messiah)
After Greece the Romans take over but allow the Temple and
sacrificial service to continue, but under their political control, by
appointing the high priest. In this period of Roman rule Jesus/Yeshua came.
Jerusalem and Temple Mount cannot be disconnected from Him. Where do you stand
regarding the re-building of Jerusalem and the Temple? He walked, teached
(taught) and healed in Jerusalem and the Temple. He went up to Jerusalem and
the Temple for the pilgrimage feasts. He was convicted, sentenced, died,
buried, resurrected and ascended into heaven all in Jerusalem. When He return
it will again be in Jerusalem.
- Act 1:10-12
And as they were gazing into the heaven as He went up, see, two men stood by
them dressed in white, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand
looking up into the heaven? This same, Jesus who was taken up from you into the
heaven, shall come in the same way as you saw Him go into the heaven.”12 Then
they went back to Yerushalayim from the Mount of Olives, which is near
Yerushalayim, a Sabbath day’s journey.
- Zec 14:4
And in that day His feet shall stand upon the Mount of Olives, which faces
Yerushalayim on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from
east to west, a very great valley, and half of the mountain shall move toward
the north and half of it toward the south.
Adam and Eve were tried in the middle of the garden. In the
same manner Jesus/Yeshua was tried in the middle of Jerusalem.
- Mat 4:5-7
Then the devil took Him up into the set-apart city, set Him on the edge of the
Set-apart Place, 6 and said to Him, “If You are the Son of Elohim, throw
Yourself down. For it has been written, ‘He shall command His messengers
concerning you,’ and, ‘In their hands they shall bear you up, so that you do
not dash your foot against a stone.’ ” 7 Jesus said to him, “It has also been
written, ‘You shall not try YHVH your Elohim.
’
For Jesus/Yeshua to be the Pesach Lamb, sacrifices, High
Priest and all the other things proclaiming Him in the Torah. There needed to
be a functioning Temple service. It does not matter if the Temple service was righteous,
because it was not. In the same manner there need to be a Temple with a
sacrificial service to herald the second coming of Jesus/Yeshua.
- Mat
24:15 “So when you see the ‘abomination
that lays waste,’ spoken of by Dani’ĕl the prophet, set up in the set-apart
place” – he who reads, let him understand –
- Dan
11:31 “And strong ones shall arise from
him and profane the set-apart place, the stronghold, and shall take away that
which is continual, and set up the abomination that lays waste.
The so called 3rd Temple is not the Temple described in
Eze.40-48. After the final destruction of the Temple in 70. a.M., Israel was
finally dispersed into the nations.
An interesting thing happens in about
400.a.M. the Roman Empire puts on a new set of clothes, it clothed itself in
Christianity. The Roman Empire clothed in Roman Catholicism still had control
over Jerusalem. Christianity loose control over Jerusalem and Temple Mount and
a new world power rises in the form of Islam. England becomes a world power and
has control over Jerusalem and Temple Mount, but sadly turns its back on Israel
and handover Jerusalem to Jordan.
Why is Jerusalem and Mount Zion
important?
The Messianic Kingdom will start in Jerusalem/Israel and
will expand over the whole of the earth under the rule of Jesus the King of the
universe.
- Dan 2:34-35
“You were looking on, until a stone was cut out without hands, and it smote the
image on its feet of iron and clay, and broke them in pieces. 35 “Then the
iron, the clay, the bronze, the silver, and the gold were crushed together, and
became like chaff from the summer threshing-floors. And the wind took them away
so that no trace of them was found. And the stone that smote the image became a
great mountain and filled all the earth. ….. 44 “And in the days of these
sovereigns the Elah of the heavens shall set up a reign which shall never be
destroyed, nor the reign pass on to other people – it crushes and puts to an
end all these reigns, and it shall stand forever.
- Mat
13:31-33 Another parable He put before them, saying, “The reign of the heavens
is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which
indeed is less than all the seeds, but when it is grown it is greater than the
plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the heaven come and dwell in
its branches.” 33 Another parable He spoke to them, “The reign of the heavens
is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal until all
was leavened.”
In Scripture we are warned and blessed regarding Jerusalem.
The time has arrived for us to listen when God speaks.
- Psa 122:6
Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim, Let those who love You be at rest.
- Psa 128:4-6
Look, so shall the man be blessed Who fears YHVH. 5 YHVH shall bless you out of
Tsiyon, And let you see the good of Yerushalayim All the days of your life, 6
And let you see your children’s children! Peace be upon Yisra’ěl!
- Psa 137:5-7
if I forget you, O Yerushalayim, Let my right hand forget. 6 Let my tongue
cleave to my palate, If I do not remember you, If I do not exalt Yerushalayim
Above my chief joy. 7 Remember, O YHVH, against the sons of Eḏom The day of
Yerushalayim, Who said, “Lay it bare, lay it bare, To its foundation!”
We are living in a time where prophesy regarding Israel,
Jerusalem and Mount Zion are being fulfilled.
- Zech 12:2-3
“See, I am making Yerushalayim a cup of reeling to all the people all around,
and also against Yehuḏah it is in the siege against Yerushalayim. 3 “And in
that day it shall be that I make Yerushalayim a very heavy stone for all
peoples – all lifting it are severely injured. And all the nations of the earth
shall be gathered against it.
Why would anyone lift a stone? It is to take it out of the
way. Jerusalem cannot be taken, ignored or wished away. We as believers in
Jesus/Yeshua as the Messiah must decide where we stand regarding Israel,
Jerusalem and Mount Zion.

Repentance
Repentance #1
Scripture
And seeing this, Peter answered to the people, Men, Israelites, why do you marvel at this one? Or why do you stare at us, as if by our own power or godliness we have made him to walk? The "God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob," "the God of our fathers," glorified His child Jesus, whom you delivered up, and denied Him in the presence of Pilate, that one having decided to set Him free. But you denied the Holy and Just One, and asked for a man, a murderer, to be granted to you. And the Author of Life you killed, whom God raised up from the dead, of which we are witnesses. And on the faith of His name, this one whom you see and know was made firm by His name, and the faith which came through Him gave to him this complete soundness before you all. And now, brothers, I know that you acted according to ignorance, as also did your rulers. But what things God before proclaimed through the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ should suffer, He fulfilled in this manner. Therefore, repent, and convert, for the blotting out of your sins, so that times of refreshing may come from the face of the Lord, and that He may send forth the One before proclaimed to you, Jesus Christ, whom Heaven truly needs to receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God spoke through the mouth of all His holy prophets from the age past. For Moses indeed said to the fathers, "The Lord your God will raise up to you a Prophet from among your brothers, One like me; you shall hear Him according to all things," whatever He may speak to you.(Act 3:12-22 LITV)
{See Deut. 18:15-16, 19}
(see Ex. 3:15)
26 And He made from one [common origin, one source, one blood] all nations of men to settle on the face of the earth, having definitely determined [their] allotted periods of time and the fixed boundaries of their habitation (their settlements, lands, and abodes),27 So that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel after Him and find Him, although He is not far from each one of us.28 For in Him we live and move and have our being; as even some of your [own] poets have said, For we are also His offspring.29 Since then we are God’s offspring, we ought not to suppose that Deity (the Godhead) is like gold or silver or stone, [of the nature of] a representation by human art and imagination, or anything constructed or invented. 30 Such [former] ages of ignorance God, it is true, ignored and allowed to pass unnoticed; but now He charges all people everywhere to repent ([d]to change their minds for the better and heartily to amend their ways, with abhorrence of their past sins),31 Because He has fixed a day when He will judge the world righteously (justly) by a Man Whom He has destined and appointed for that task, and He has made this credible and given conviction and assurance and evidence to everyone by raising Him from the dead.32 Now when they had heard [that there had been] a resurrection from the dead, some scoffed; but others said, We will hear you again about this matter. (Acts 17:26-32 AMPC)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His . commandments. His Praise endures forever. (Ps 111:10 NKJ)
Who is there like unto Him? He alone is God! Besides Him there is no other! He is the Lord God Almighty! Hear the Lord say to us; "Come up hither! Draw near to Me and I shall draw near to you! Take My yoke upon you; Come to Me; you whom are heavy laden; And I will give you rest!" Come stand in His Awesome Presence! Be bathed in His Love. His Goodness and Love draws us closer toward Him! Yes His Goodness & Mercy, endures forever.
We are to remember to choose and repent on behalf of our families and their bloodline (ie our bloodline). We need to repent on behalf of the sins of our forefathers, our nation, our country and our peoples. Yeah it may even mean repenting on behalf of our nation's leaders. We 're reminded in Scripture; to pray for all people eve'rywhere. E'en though we do not necessary agree.
First of all, I encourage you to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and prayers of thanks for all people, for rulers, and for everyone who has authority over us. Pray for these people so that we can have a quiet and peaceful life always lived in a godly and reverent way. This is good and pleases God our Savior. He wants all people to be saved and to learn the truth. There is one God. There is also one mediator between God and humans-a human, Christ Jesus. He sacrificed himself for all people to free them from their sins. This message is valid for every era. I was appointed to spread this Good News and to be an apostle to teach people who are not Jewish about faith and truth. I'm telling you the truth. I'm not lying. I want men to offer prayers everywhere. They should raise their hands in prayer after putting aside their anger and any quarrels they have with anyone.(1Ti 2:1-8 GW)
Remember when Daniel prayed he enquired of the Lord icw the future of his nation. He had also studied the word given Jeremiah, by the Lord as to the future of Israel. While praying, interceding for his nation he repented on behalf of Israel's sin and the sin of her fathers and forefathers. He therefore could also read the times and seasons as the Lord revealed them to him.
Through diligent study of the Word (Scriptures), we are able to understand the times and seasons; the reason for repentance. Especially while studying Jeremiah. He (Daniel) came across the Word of the Lord concerning Israel's deliverance from Babylon. Meanwhile he interceded repenting on behalf of his people Israel. Through his repentant intercession, the Lord revealed to Daniel the future of what is about to take place. Surely our Lord would not do anything, without first letting His secrets be known to His servants the prophets (see Amos 3:7).
Repentance
During this season let us return to our Lord with fear and trembling. Our Lord is a consuming fire and He is thrice Holy! We see recorded in Scripture how Isaiah stood in the Lord's Presence with awe. He saw the Lord High and Lifted Up! While he watched; the angels, the seraphim cried out Holy! Holy! Holy! Is the Lord of Hosts! The whole earth is full of His Glory!Who is there like unto Him? He alone is God! Besides Him there is no other! He is the Lord God Almighty! Hear the Lord say to us; "Come up hither! Draw near to Me and I shall draw near to you! Take My yoke upon you; Come to Me; you whom are heavy laden; And I will give you rest!" Come stand in His Awesome Presence! Be bathed in His Love. His Goodness and Love draws us closer toward Him! Yes His Goodness & Mercy, endures forever.

Cry to the Lord
I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.(Psa 3:4-5 KJV-BRG)
After this adulterous affair; he thought he could hide his iniquitous actions. The Lord, being all knowing was aware of David's, treacherous wrongdoing against both Uriah and Bathsheba. Therefore, He sent Nathan to reprimand David, icw his sinful actions. When confronted with the truth and destruction of his actions; David quickly repented. He confessed his sin and in due course the Lord restored him. We see his repentant heart and prayer found in Ps 51_ _
Create in Me a Clean Heart, O God
To the chief musician,
A Psalm of David when Nathan the prophet came to him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba.
Be gracious to me, O God, according to Your loving-kindness, according to the multitude of Your tender mercies; blot out my transgressions. Wash me completely from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. For I know my transgressions; and my sin is ever before me. Against You, You only, I have sinned, and done evil in Your eyes; that You might be justified in Your speaking and be clear when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts; and in the hidden parts You teach me wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Cause me to hear joy and gladness; the bones You have crushed will rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, and blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me out from Your presence, and do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways; and sinners will turn back to You. Deliver me from the guilt of shedding blood, O God, O God of my salvation; my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips and my mouth shall declare Your praise. For you do not desire sacrifice, or I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole offering; then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. (Psa 51:1-19 LITV)
"From this Psalm we are able to see how David could say; "I cried unto the Lord, with my voice, and He heard me out of His Holy Hill! Selah_" (Ps 3:4-5 NKJ).Though he had many setbacks, he could say "the Lord heard, healed and restored me!"
We find several examples throughout Scripture. Repentance remains a vitally important issue in our daily walk with G-d. Without repentance (i.e. genuine, true repentance) in our life the Lord is unable to do much. As said earlier G-d is thrice Holy! Sin cannot survive in His Holy Presence! For real true Salvation to take place; there needs to be true, genuine repentance.
Now what is repentance? A fairly good question in deed! Through this brief study; we shall try answering this question, to the best of our ability. Scripture clearly speaks about this matter. The Lord clearly tells us, the Holy Spirit is able to train us in all these matters. This is why we need to remain teachable at all times. He promises to show us great wondrous things, when we diligently, urgently seek Him. As we daily seek to know drawing near to Him; He promises to draw near to us.
He regularly desires to fellowship with us! For so Great is His Love! But our sins come between Him and us. These can build a wall of separation between G-d & us! Therefore we need to be living continuously in a repentant spirit. David knew this that is why he immediately repented of his foolishness, once confronted with his sin.
Repentance means a 180○ turn around from the way we are living. It means a lifestyle change. Before repentance there is the need of confession. Confession takes place before repentance. The two go together. The one needs the other. These two are required before Salvation is able to take place in our life. True repentance also bring us to the point of Salvation through Christ Jesus in our life..
When we as a people whom are called by His Name, humble ourselves; pray, repent from our wicked ways seek the Lord's Face confess our sins. He is sure to hear from heaven and heal our land, our nation , our peoples. (More to follow later)

Return to the Lord
I also had undergone similar situations in my life. When our Lord saved me I had prepared myself to go all the way with Him. Yet to my shame I missed it. Started giving up, yet our Lord ever remains faithful. When and where others wrote me off, our Lord had not once done so.
Instead He says, ” I’ll ne’er leave you nor shall I forsake yo. I am with you always; e’en till the end of the age. ” ’tis so easy to write someone off if they do not meet your standards. But our Lord ne’er did. He could of destroyed Israel long ago, yet He is God of Covenant! He made His Covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob! (later Israel)!
Our Lord e’en today still keeps and honours His Word above His Name. Giving everyone an equal opportunity, for Repentance, Deliverance and Salvation!
He could’ve written off Simon (later changing his name from Simon which means reed to Peter [Cephas]; meaning small rock or stone). Yet once more , though Peter denied Him thrice, our Lord restored him back to his full title authority and position.
Remember Scripture clearly says our Lord would not break a bruised reed. neither put out a smoking flax. What do we mean? Do I hear one ask.
Our Lord came to heal, find and save that which is lost. He always Loves us, yet hates the sin, wickedness, evil we allow in our lives. He gives every person, man or woman an equal chance for repentance, Forgiveness and Salvation It is His will that none should perish, but that all may be saved, repented, restored , forgiven. He paid for us with His Life. Crucified, sacrificed for us to have life, and life abundant (more of this later).
A medical practitioner (doctor, nurse, sister or matron) are placed there through legislation, to heal, care, watch the sick, despite what their patients background may be. Even so our Lord came to die on our behalf, rising again to heal and restore peoples and nations! He wishes to restore all mankind to their original state and relationship with their (our ) Creator. Hearken, heed, hear, listen for His calling for us to return to Him. His ear is always open to hear. (His arm not to short to save).
Call unto Him while He still can be found. He came to seek and save that which is lost (as mentioned earlier). ” The hour is near! The time short! Return to me o faithless people. My arm is not to short, to heal, to save to deliver. The sick need a doctor!”
As sinners we need to repent; return to the Lord before the Great and Awesome day which lies ahead. “Return to Me o backsliding children! Return afore it is too late! When you call, or when you cry unto Me I shall hear.”
“Those called by My Name; when you repent, humble yourselves, pray; confess your sin, seek My Face, turn from your wicked ways, Then I shall hear from Heaven, Forgive your sin and Heal your land!” (See 2 Chron 7:14).

Chapter Six
The Wilderness Files (Syndrome)
Scripture
7 Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says: Today, if you will hear His voice, 8Do not harden your hearts, as [happened] in the rebellion [of Israel] and their provocation and embitterment [of Me] in the day of testing in the wilderness, 9 Where your fathers tried [My patience] and tested [My forbearance] and found I stood their test, and they saw My works for forty years. (Heb3:7-9 AMPC).1
10 And so I was provoked (displeased and sorely grieved) with that generation, and said, They always err and are led astray in their hearts, and they have not perceived or recognized My ways and become progressively better and more experimentally and intimately acquainted with them.11 Accordingly, I swore in My wrath and indignation, They shall not enter into My rest.12[Therefore be-ware] brethren, take care, lest there be in any one of you a wicked, unbelieving heart [which refuses to cleave to, trust in, and rely on Him], leading you to turn away and desert or stand aloof from the living God.13 But instead warn (admonish, urge, and encourage) one another every day, as long as it is called Today, that none of you may be hardened [into settled rebellion] by the deceitfulness of sin [by the fraudulence, the stratagem, the trickery which the delu-sive glamour of his sin may play on him].14For we [c]have become fellows with Christ (the Messiah) and share in all He has for us, if only we hold our first new-born confidence and original assured expectation [in virtue of which we are believers] firm and unshaken to the end.
15 Then while it is [still] called To-day, if you would hear His voice and when you hear it, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion [in the desert, when the people provoked and irritated and embittered God against them].16For who were they who heard and yet were rebellious and provoked [Him]? Was it not all those who came out of Egypt led by Moses? 17And with whom was He irritated and provoked and grieved for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose dismembered bodies were strewn and left in the desert? 18And to whom did He swear that they should not enter His rest, but to those who disobeyed [who had not listened to His word and who refused to be compliant or be persuaded]? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter [into His rest]; because of their unwillingness to adhere to and trust in and rely on God [unbelief had shut them out. (See Heb 3:7-19 AMPC)
Without Faith
Through our entire life, we need to seek the Kingdom of God first and His Righteousness; then all these things shall be added unto us. Whoever calls upon His Name shall not be ashamed. Therefore, Yaakov arose and sought the Lord His God for an answer; His Leading for the Lord’s next step to take place in his life. The Lord our God is constantly ordering our steps. Our lives been continually directed by and through His Word. He daily directs our steps!
While in the land of their captivity Israel called all his children to draw near to him. He was to declare over them God’s Blessings, that which would take place in the near future, and their latter years, nearing the end of the age. He revealed to them both God’s Blessing and His promise for them and their descendants. He would prophetically reveal to them God’s response, toward them including their promised deliverance.
Before going down to Egypt (Mitsrayim), the Lord appeared to him at Beersheba giving him the sure Word of Promise. The Lord told him, he would see his beloved son. Further God confirmed His Earlier Promise, which He made with Abraham. Once more, God reminds Yisrael includ-ing all who believe on His Name that He is the Rewarder of them whom diligently seek Him (see Heb 11:1-5).
He called for Yoseph to appear before him. He was about to speak God’s blessing over him and both his sons (Manasseh & Ephraim). The Lord gave Yisrael an encouraging word, saying he would see Yoseph before his passing. He would also see his grandsons.
On seeing Ephraim and Manasseh, he asked Yoseph about them. An-swering his father, he said they are the children with, whom the Lord had blessed him. While blessing them he adopted them giving them both an inherited portion with the rest of his sons. Further placing upon them the names of his fathers Abraham, Isaac and his own names (Yisrael & Yaakov).
Now before Jacob’s (Israel’s) passing, he called his children to him. It would be crucial for all of them to be present. The Lord was about to re-veal to Israel, what would take place in due course. He would reveal to them that which would take place in the latter days as well. The times and seasons are all in His Hand.
Israel (Yaakov) was preparing his descendants for the future, which their Lord was planning for them. The Lord knows the plans, the thoughts that He has concerning us. His Plans, thoughts are of success and a future, not of failure. He holds the keys of death and Hades. He has also given us the keys of Heaven.
Remember whatever we bind on earth shall be bound in Heaven. In addition, whatever we loose on earth shall be loosed in Heaven (Mat 16:19; Mat 18:18).
Blessing of the Tribes
Scripture
And Ya‛aqoḇ called his sons and said, “Gather together, so that I declare to you what is to befall you in the last days: “Gather together and hear, you sons of Ya‛aqoḇ, and listen to Yisra’ěl your father. “Re’uḇěn, you are my first-born, my power and the beginning of my strength, the excellency of exaltation and the excellency of power. “Boiling like water, you do not excel, because you went up to your father’s bed, then you defiled it – he went up to my couch. “Shim‛on and Lěwi are brothers, their weapons are implements of violence. “Let my being not enter their council, let my esteem not be united to their assembly; because they killed a man in their displeasure, and they lamed an ox in pleasure. “Cursed be their displeasure for it is fierce, and their wrath for it is cruel! I divide them in Ya‛aqoḇ and scatter them in Yisra’ěl. “You, Yehuḏah, your brothers praise you; your hand is on the neck of your enemies; your father’s children bow down before you. “Yehuḏah is a lion’s cub; from the prey you have gone up, my son! He bowed down, he crouched like a lion. And like a lion, who does rouse him? “The sceptre shall not turn aside from Yehuḏah, nor an Inscriber from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to Him is the obedience of peoples. “Binding his donkey to the vine, and his donkey’s colt to the choice vine, he washed his garments in wine, and his robes in the blood of grapes. “His eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than milk. “Zeḇulun dwells at the seashore, he is for a haven for ships, and his border is unto Tsiḏon. “Yissasḵar is a strong donkey lying down between two burdens, and he saw that a resting place was good, and that the land was pleasant, and he inclined his shoulder to bear a burden, and became a subject to slave labour. “Dan rightly rules his people as one of the tribes of Yisra’ěl. “Dan is a serpent by the way, an adder by the path that bites the horse’s heels so that its rider falls backward. “I have waited for your deliverance, O יהוה! “Gad, a raiding band raids him, but he raids its heel. “Bread from Ashěr is rich, and he gives delicacies of a sovereign. “Naphtali is a deer let loose, he gives words of elegance. “Yosěph is an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree, an offshoot of a fruit-bearing tree by a fountain, his branches run over a wall. “And the archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. “But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty One of Ya‛aqoḇ – from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Yisra’ěl – from the Ěl of your father who helps you, and by the Almighty who blesses you with blessings of the heavens from above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. “The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the limit of the everlasting hills. They are on the head of Yosěph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separated from his brothers. “Binyamin is a wolf that tears, in the morn-ing he eats prey, and at night he divides the spoil.”(Gen 49:1-27 TS2009)2
Israel becoming a nation
Here we see Israel (Yaakov/Jacob) passing on the blessings to all his sons. Jacob been the last of the patriarchs passes on the blessing to the new generation. They are to be the forerunners of the establishment of Israel as a nation. Yet they and their descendants still had to increase both in numbers and in strength.
They were about to enter into God’s next phase for raising a strong na-tion. The Lord was about to fulfil the rest of His promise, as given to their father Abraham many years before. God is no man that He should lie nor the son of man that He would repent. Has He not said so and shall He not fulfil His Word (See Num 23:19-21 NKJ)
While in their land of bondage, Israel became a nation according to the Word of God given to Abraham, our father of faith. These promises fully given to Israel’s descendants included all future matters, times and sea-sons. The Lord would later lead them to completely, take possession of their Promised Land. Through Isaac and Joseph’s life and testimony, they would be able to remain at peace in their land of bondage until the sea-son was ready for the Lord to lead them out.
God is not a man that He should lie, or a son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? And has He spoken, and shall He not make it good? Behold, I have received word to bless; yes, He has blessed; I cannot reverse it. (Num 23:19-20 LITV)4
Meanwhile, Joseph had risen to power becoming Pharaoh’s Prime Minis-ter. The Lord would watch over them and they would multiply, growing from strength to strength. All during the life of Joseph (Yoseph) after Israel’s (Yisrael’s) passing, they were under YHVH’s protection. The Lord watched over them and they grew! Multiplying from strength to strength.
The Lord also gave them favour with Egypt until after Joseph’s passing. Meanwhile their numbers increased daily. They grew from strength to strength! The nation of Israel became established!
And Joseph said unto his brethren: ‘I die; but God will surely remember you, and bring you up out of this land unto the land which He swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.’ And Joseph took an oath of the children of Israel, saying: ‘God will surely remember you, and ye shall carry up my bones from hence.’ So Joseph died, being a hundred and ten years old. And they embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. (Gen 50:24-26 JPS)
The Passing of Joseph (Yoseph)
Scripture
And these are the names of the children of Yisra’ěl who came to Mitsrayim with Ya‛aqoḇ, each one with his household: Re’uḇěn, Shim‛on, Lěwi, and Yehuḏah; Yissasḵar, Zeḇulun, and Binyamin; Dan and Naphtali, Gaḏ and Ashěr. And all those who were descendants of Ya‛aqoḇ were seventy beings, as Yosěph was already in Mitsrayim. And Yosěph died, and all his brothers, and all that generation. And the children of Yisra’ěl were fruitful and increased very much, multiplied and became very strong, and the land was filled with them. Then a new sovereign arose over Mitsrayim, who did not know Yosěph, and he said to his people, “See, the people of the children of Yisra’ěl are more and stronger than we, come, let us act wisely towards them, lest they increase, and it shall be when fighting befalls us, that they shall join our enemies and fight against us, and shall go up out of the land.” the more they increased and grew, and they were in dread of the children of Yisra’ěl. (Exo 1:1-12 TS2009)
Joseph (Yoseph) Who_ _ _?
This new Pharaoh had neither known nor even heard about Joseph. He had forgotten the famine from which the Lord spared both Mitsrayim, Yisrael and the rest of the known world. He saw how the children of Yisrael increased in numbers, strength and stature . Be-ing fearful, he tabled a law to enslave Israel (Yisrael) , and to abort the birth of their entire male babes after or during their birth .
Therefore, they set slave-masters over them to afflict them with their burdens, and they built for Pharaoh Supply cities, Pithom and Ra‛amses. However, the more they afflicted them; In due course Joseph breathed his last. He asked his brethren, when the Lord their God would lead them out; they take his bones with them. Therefore, they embalmed his body, after he passed on. I due course all of Yoseph’s brothers and their generation passed on. Yisrael still prospered until Mitsrayim (Egypt) came under rule of a different royal house.
Unless they were ready to take possession of their rightful inheritance. They would still need to traverse the Wilderness for fourty years. Although they could have entered their, promise in a short space of time. The Lord had to deal with their flesh.
Despite their opposition, which Israel experienced, the Lord came through for them. When the times, the season being ready Israel cried out for their deliverance! On hearing their cry, the Lord remembered His Promised Covenant, which He made.
Moses (Mosheh)
Scripture
And a man went from the house of Levi and took a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived and bore a son; and she saw him, that he was beautiful. And she concealed him three months. And she was not able to hide him any longer, and she took a basket for him made of papyrus, and she daubed it with bitumen and with pitch. And she put the child in it, and placed it in the reeds by the lip of the Nile. And his sister took her stand from a distance, to know what would be done to him. And the daughter of Pharaoh went down to bathe at the Nile. And her slave women were walking on the side of the Nile. And she saw the basket in the midst of the reeds, and sent her slave-girl and took it. And she opened it and saw the child, and, behold, a boy crying! And she had pity on him and said, This one is of the children of the Hebrews. And his sister said to Pharaoh’s daughter, Shall I go and call a woman for you, a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you? And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Go. And the girl went and called the child’s mother. And Pharaoh’s daughter said to her, Take this child away and nurse him for me, and I will give your wages. And the woman took the child and nursed him. And the child grew, and she brought him to the daughter of Pharaoh. And he became a son to her, and she called his name Moses, and said, Because I drew him out of the water. (Exo 2:1-10 LITV)6
For Him to execute His plan. He raised Moses in Pharaoh’s courts. Whom He would eventually use to lead Israel out from captive bondage. He trained Moses in all matters concerning governing, leading and rul-ing a nation. The Lord would lead him into the wilderness fourty years as a herdsman. He was preparing him to lead a nation out from captiv-ity.
His mother suckled him when Moses was still a babe. This done under covering of the watchful eye of Pharaoh’s Daughter. In due course, she showed him to her father. She declared that she has adopted Moses as her own son and an heir after her, for she was barren.
Pharaoh’s daughter adopted him; raising him as her own son. She also trained him in Egypt’s Royal Lifestyle. According to Josephus and the Book of Jasher. During this time, the Lord raised Moses up as one of their finest generals. His father taught him to read and write in Pharaoh’s courts.
YHVH’s Answer
It happened that Mosheh saw an Egyptian (Mitsrian) strike a fellow He-brew. On seeing this, his ire rose within him. Through defending his fel-low Hebrew from the Mitsrian. He killed the Egyptian .
The following day he came across two fellow Hebrews fighting. Once more, he intervened. He was hoping to prove that he would be their future liberator. They remarked on his previous action asking _ _ _.
“By whom are you placed charge o’er us? Will you do us in as you did your fellow citizen?” This became knowledge to Pharaoh, who wanted Mosheh’s head . They were aware of his able, capable leadership potential
Immediately Moses (Mosheh) fled leaving Mitsrayim behind! For fear of his life! On his way, to Midian! Mosheh (Moses) came across a Midianite well. Where seven daughters of Midian’s priest made ready to water their flocks. During which time some uncouth shepherds arrived, rough-ly pushing them aside . Straightway he acted and watered their flocks, keeping the uncouth aside to wait their turn.
Through the courtesy, which he showed these sisters, they arrived at their home earlier than usual. Their father enquired about their early re-turn. On hearing of Moses benevolence, Reuel (his title being Yithro meaning Excellency) the priest of Midian desired to reward Moses ac-cordingly.
For the courtesy, he showed his daughters Reuel (the Midian priest), enquired about Moses. He desired to return this courtesy being the head of the house. He wanted to prepare a table in his honour.
